Follow the guides they are a real time saver. All K-1 pettitions (I-129F) go to the Texas lockbox. Good luck and ask lots of questions here.

Read a lot of the info on this website, depending on which state you are from is depending on which service center you will send the petition to. You will need things like the I-129F, G-325A, etc.. there is several forms if you 2 are just engaged. A very very important thing to remember is it is a very very long process after it is sent, so patience is always a virtue. I hope this gets you pointed in the right direction. Its very confusing it was for me as well not knowing what to do next and Im still that way. But this website is where I got a lot of my answers, my fiancee read it too and between her and me we kinda got a few things figured out.

they are sent to the Texas lock box then forwarded to the processing center. feel free to ask plenty of questions and don't forget to look at the guide so you can see how to fill out the forms. you can print and prepare the forms now. what you will need from her is just some basic information. I am sure there are a few members her who filed in china.

good luck and I wish you well.

Make sure that before you leave China (if you plan on filing after returning to the USA), you have your fiancee write and sign the letter of intent to marry and sign her biographical information form. You need her to sign these in order to submit as part of your packet.

Best wishes!
