Hello all,

I am currently in the process of gathering information to send out I-130 packet.

I have a question under Section D, Other Information, question 2:

Have you ever before filed a petition for this or any other alien?

I previously filed K1 Fiance Visa for my ex-husband. He did not received legal permanent residency since we got divorced. So I am not sure if I should still add this information on this question, even though it was a different type of Visa.

Any input would be greatly appreciate it.

02/02/2011: I-130 Sent

02/03/2011: USPS delivery confirmation

02/08/2011: NOA1 (text message + email)

02/09/2011: Touched

05/31/2011: NOA2 text and email

06/20/2011: NVC finally received our case!!

06/24/2011: Assigned case and INN number

06/24/2011: Received AOS Bill/Instructions, and DS3032

06/26/2011: Sent Choice of Agent form via email

06/27/2011: Paid I-864 bill

06/30/2011: Mailed I-864 packet

07/01/2011: DS-3032 was accepted

07/05/2011: Received Packet IV

07/06/2011: Paid IV bill

09/10/2011: Mailed IV packet

09/15/2011: Got a checklist! :(

09/19/2011: Sent completed checklist

09/22/2011: Case complete!!!!

09/29/2011: Received Packet 4, Assigned interview date

09/30/2011: Case forwarded to foreign consulate

U.S. Consulate in Asunción, Paraguay

10-03-2011: Medical Exam

10-12-2011: Medical Results picked up

11-01-2011: Interview at 2:30PM. APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

11-02-2011: VISA picked up

11-10-2011: POE: Washington DC

Hello

yes you have to provide this information even if it was a different visa type regardless of him receiving a permanent residency or not

IMO, it doesn't distinguish K1 or IR1/CR1 etc. It just asks about a petition. Petition is a common term. Hence If my interpretation is correct, you should enter K1 details there.

07/12/2012 - Interview in Mumbai - Success!

IMO, it doesn't distinguish K1 or IR1/CR1 etc. It just asks about a petition. Petition is a common term. Hence If my interpretation is correct, you should enter K1 details there.

03-03-14 -> USCIS received. (Priority Date)
03-09-14 -> NOA1 received.
06-04-14 -> NOA2 received. Approved.
06-18-14 -> NVC Received case.
07-03-14 -> NVC Assigned Case#(Got Case# & IIN Over the Phone).
07-22-14 -> DS-261 Completed.
07-25-14 -> AOS fee Payment.
07-29-14 -> AOS fee shows PAID.
07-30-14 -> AOS Package Sent.
07-31-14 -> AOS Package delivered.
09-15-14 -> IV fee Payment.

09-17-14 -> IV fee Shows PAID.

09-18-14 -> IV Package Sent.
09-20-14 -> IV Package Delivered.

10-20-14 -> Case Complete.

10-28-14 -> Case Complete Email Received.
