Received interview letter today for march 10th...no news yet on EAD

Actually I had a further look to what they sent me and they put a copy of the Fedex package tag.

There are 2 dates on it. the 22th in tiny and a big one: 23rd. I believe Fedex really processed my package only after midnight...that is why.

I should go there and ask them to pay the extra fees and delivery for me, 170 USD more. And once again, I asked twice the girl about the postmarked date...

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear it. I havent got anything from them yet.

Package Re-sent to Chicago, going back to step one :crying:

Not really cool...but I pass my road test today, got it !!

My timeline:

10/2009 - E2 Visa delivered by the US Embassy in Paris.

12/2009 - Relocation in Big Apple :)

06/2010 - Mariage in France.

11/2010 - Assembly of package (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131).

11/22/10 - package sent to Chicago (FedEx/Overnight.

11/23/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:18 am.

12/08/10 - Received Rejection Notice of the package for incorrect fees.

12/09/10 - Corrected package sent again to Chicago (Fedex Overnight).

12/10/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:08 am.

12/14/10 - Received emails/texts notifications of acceptance from USCIS.

12/20/10 - NOA1 received for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131(hard copies).

01/03/11 - Appointment Notice received - Biometrics appointment set for the 01/25.

01/25/11 - Biometrics done.

02/16/11 - Received Email: EAD in production, Post decision/Approval for AP.

02/26/11 - Received EAD/AP Card

Haha that's funny and awesome!!! Congrats so happy for you! It's a bummer it took so long, but thankfully at least it was accepted. That way you know you won't have to pay the new fees...Hopefully the rest of the process goes much smoother and quicker for ya!

Ah, btw its weird that I have like 3 different receipt numbers in their emails and texts. :bonk: . So I guess I have to wait for the snail copy to know what the official receipt number is.

You have different receipt numbers for the different forms you filed. I think, if it works, any of them should work. We aren't able to get updates right now because it can't find any of our case numbers. Apparently this is normal.

I must have missed this one! Do you mean you got an email from USCIS that your packet was accepted, or an email from USPS that your package was successfully delivered? If from USCIS, congrats!! :)

@ Kittyfang-- Any news on your RFE?

No news yet. I called USCIS the day I got the RFE. I spoke to what I think is a tier 2 person and she told me that I they will send a letter of explanation in the next 5 days. So, I am waiting for this.

I cannot think of what the problem could be. The only possible thing would be that my doctor's secretary used a copy of the medical that I didn't signed.

Since I can't imagine what else would be wrong, I went to my doctor and got a second copy. But I am wondering if they will accept THAT one. Here's the issue. It's a photocopy, but MY signature and the doctor's are real (or so I'm told. it's black ink, so when I pointed out that the doctor's signature looked copied, the receptionist said that it was just the way his pen wrote). Everyone over there told me that it will be fine. I'm thinking "well, they do this a lot, so they should know".

Adjustment of Status

11/03/10 ------- AoS (I-130/I-485) Package mailed out (Priority Mail)

11/07/10 ------- AoS Package received and singed for

11/10/10 ------- NOA1 received for I-130, I-485 and I-765 (emails)

11/12/10 ------- NOA1 received for I-130, I-485 and I-765 (hard copies)

11/12/10 ------- Touches on I-130, I-485 and I-765

11/19/10 ------- Biometrics appointment letter received

12/06/10 ------- RFE for I-693 (I think the issue is that it was not signed. Called USCIS and will receive a letter in a few days explaining)

12/13/10 ------- Biometrics done

12/16/10 ------- EAD card in production (email)

12/20/10 ------- Received "Letter of Explanation" for RFE (Service Request to expedite my case. Called USCIS and was told to ignore that and just send in response to RFE.)

12/22/10 ------- Touch (Email for Post Decision Activity on EAD saying that a letter of approval has been mailed out)

12/24/10 ------- Received EAD in the mail

12/27/10 ------- Applied for SSN

12/31/10 ------- Received Interview letter

You're right because I filed 3 forms and they all start with MSC but too bad that I cant check case update online either because they can't find it :unsure:
