Yay!! congrats!

02/21/99 Hubby entered with F1 student visa D/S

May 2002 He stopped attending school because he couldn't afford it any longer.

03?/2002 USC sibling I-130 petition

02/2009 Met hubby

08/2009 Sibling petition approved but ineligible to adjust status due to overstay

07/10 Married :)

11/22/10 [day 0]- mailed AOS packet!! should be there by noon 11/23/2010

12/3/10 [day 11]- received email/text notification of acceptance from USCIS

12/3/10 hubby surprised me with a trip to Los Angeles for my birthday...no problems :)

12/6/10 [day 14]- received hard copy NOA1 in mail

12/7/10 [day 15]- checks cashed...ouch

12/15/10 [day 23]- rec'd biometrics appt set for Dec. 28th at 10 am! :)

12/28/10 [day 36]- successful biometrics appt

01/27/11 [day 66]- rec'd interview appt set for March 10th at 10 am :)

02/25/11 [day 95]- rec'd EAD

03/10/11 [day 109]- Interview, Green card approved!! :)

Next Step: Removing conditions in 2 years.

Received interview letter today for march 10th...no news yet on EAD

12/2009 - Relocation in Big Apple :)

06/2010 - Mariage in France.

11/2010 - Assembly of package (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131).

11/22/10 - package sent to Chicago (FedEx/Overnight.

11/23/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:18 am.

12/08/10 - Received Rejection Notice of the package for incorrect fees.

12/09/10 - Corrected package sent again to Chicago (Fedex Overnight).

12/10/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:08 am.

12/14/10 - Received emails/texts notifications of acceptance from USCIS.

12/20/10 - NOA1 received for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131(hard copies).

01/03/11 - Appointment Notice received - Biometrics appointment set for the 01/25.

01/25/11 - Biometrics done.

02/16/11 - Received Email: EAD in production, Post decision/Approval for AP.

02/26/11 - Received EAD/AP Card

03/28/11 - Interview notification received by email. Interview set for the 05/03.

I just got my emails ( 16 of them!) an 16 texts! geee. Let us know... are you adjusting from k-1? I am adjusting form post- completion OPT( F-1).

August 09 2007---- Enter U.S on F -1 ( graduate school)

February 16 2009 - August 2010---- on pre-completion OPT ( while writing my thesis)

August 2010--- graduated from grad school

August 2010-February 16 2011--- on post- completion OPT

My AOS timeline:

Nov 20 2010--- got married!! :) sent our AOS package to Chicago Lockbox.

Nov 22 2010--- package recived with my AOS (EAD, AP,I-130)

Dec 8 2010--- checks cashed for both AOS and I-130 and recived email and text notification ( 16 emails and 16 texts!wow!)

Dec 10 2010--- hard copy of NOA1 for AOS, I-131,I-130, I-765 recived via USPS

Dec 18 2010--- recived BIometrics appt. letter for Jan 7, 2011.

Dec 20 2010--- biometrics done, walk in

Feb 4 2011--- email notification that my EAD card has been ordered.sweet!

LOL thanks all for your supports. My husband just called them and the guy there said it would take 3 or 4 weeks to get through. So hopefully next week I ll have some news since it will be the 4th week then :).

I am so glad I got the message because I just got a letter from usps saying "In response to your request dated 11/23/2010, we regret to inform you that we were unable to locate any delivery information in our records regarding your item number EG....."

Ok husband tried registering receipt number on USCIS for updates and it says it can't locate it. Anyone else experience this??

ok so I am just coming back home...and found my whole package in my mail box.

Application has been rejected because the fees are not correct. I did send my package on the 22 and the girl from Fedex told me it will be postmarked as of the 22 (I asked her twice). I do not want to argue with them or fight with Fedex and so on so I am ready to send everything back tomorrow with the new fees. I just lost the fees increase + fedex (50USD) + 2 weeks of time...But at least I had some news (Ps: Package was received the 23rd and they worked on it the 3rd of December....). I have to move now on the December filers I believe :(

Maybe the FedEx "post mark" is not as good as the USPS post mark?

I am not even sure that FedEx stamps anything on the items. USPS puts a poststamp on for sure.

BTW, no news here...

04/2006 - came to US as L1 employee

04/2010 - got married

11/2010 - submitted AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765)

05/2011 - Welcome letter arrived in the mail

11/2017 - Filed for naturalization (Online Houston office)

11/2017 - Biometrics

06/2018 - Interview (passed)

06/2018 - Case approved notification

Actually I had a further look to what they sent me and they put a copy of the Fedex package tag.

There are 2 dates on it. the 22th in tiny and a big one: 23rd. I believe Fedex really processed my package only after midnight...that is why.

I should go there and ask them to pay the extra fees and delivery for me, 170 USD more. And once again, I asked twice the girl about the postmarked date...
