Yay!!!!! :thumbs: Congrats! :)

Went to our interview this morning.

The IO swore us in, thumbed trough the paperwork, looked at the newer evidence (only had one new), asked the I-485 questions and told us she was recommending us for approval. We got home two hours later to find an email saying the green card was in production. :dance:

I will make a longer post later, for now, I'm just going to go celebrate! :)

May 2002 He stopped attending school because he couldn't afford it any longer.

03?/2002 USC sibling I-130 petition

02/2009 Met hubby

08/2009 Sibling petition approved but ineligible to adjust status due to overstay

07/10 Married :)

11/22/10 [day 0]- mailed AOS packet!! should be there by noon 11/23/2010

12/3/10 [day 11]- received email/text notification of acceptance from USCIS

12/3/10 hubby surprised me with a trip to Los Angeles for my birthday...no problems :)

12/6/10 [day 14]- received hard copy NOA1 in mail

12/7/10 [day 15]- checks cashed...ouch

12/15/10 [day 23]- rec'd biometrics appt set for Dec. 28th at 10 am! :)

12/28/10 [day 36]- successful biometrics appt

01/27/11 [day 66]- rec'd interview appt set for March 10th at 10 am :)

02/25/11 [day 95]- rec'd EAD

03/10/11 [day 109]- Interview, Green card approved!! :)

Next Step: Removing conditions in 2 years.

11/13/2010 - Biometrics appointment scheduled for December 8th - (Day11)

11/17/2010 - Successful Biometrics walk in - (Day14)

06/14/2011 - still nothing, no online update since 11/17/2010. so frustrated (Day lost count)

08/03/2011 - received email that interview is scheduled for 09/08/2011

09/08/2011 - interview Garden City - received first card production ordered email :)

Thank you both!! :)) I cannot wait to be finished. I really hope he gets his EAD soon. I know the next month and 10 days will fly by before our interview. I'll definitely let you know how it goes bbutterfly since we're in the same area. Also, I'm so anxious to see if your walk-in biometrics will help you. Good luck to you both and hopefully you both receive some news soon too!!

1month! It is just around the corner. By the time he gets the EAD and start on the job hunt he will have the GC in hands! :)

Definitely keep me posted. As far as how the walkin affects he EAD is still yet o see especially with the RFE that I had. From what I understand they halt the process while waiting for the response. If that is accurate, who is to tell when they got back? :(. Seeing how fast you got ur appointment, I am inclined to focus more on the GC itself for job hunting purposes

I am so glad someone directed me to this forum. I just have a few questions and comments. I was wondering if someone is in the same situation as I am. We filed for the following on October 29, 2010, I485, I130, and I765. I got notice from USCIS on November 8, 2010. After approximately two weeks I got my Biometric appointment for the 28th of December, I walked in on the 10th. I recently got my EAD card on January 18, 2011, feels good and happy. But here is my question my I485 and I130 has not been touched since November, is that normal? Should I expecting an interview letter soon? Also is there anyone here that there local office is Los Angeles and with similar time line to mine? I was just curious.

Still zero touch since the 18th of December....ZzzzzZZ :crying:

I need to travel in Europe mid of April, do you think it safe to book my ticket or shall I wait??

10/2009 - E2 Visa delivered by the US Embassy in Paris.

12/2009 - Relocation in Big Apple :)

06/2010 - Mariage in France.

11/2010 - Assembly of package (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131).

11/22/10 - package sent to Chicago (FedEx/Overnight.

11/23/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:18 am.

12/08/10 - Received Rejection Notice of the package for incorrect fees.

12/09/10 - Corrected package sent again to Chicago (Fedex Overnight).

12/10/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:08 am.

12/14/10 - Received emails/texts notifications of acceptance from USCIS.

12/20/10 - NOA1 received for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131(hard copies).

01/03/11 - Appointment Notice received - Biometrics appointment set for the 01/25.

01/25/11 - Biometrics done.

02/16/11 - Received Email: EAD in production, Post decision/Approval for AP.

02/26/11 - Received EAD/AP Card

03/28/11 - Interview notification received by email. Interview set for the 05/03.

We haven't had any touches at all to my husband's i485 but my husband did receive his ead card today! So happy about that!

I was wondering what did you do your biometrics for because I only did my biometrics for my I 485 and I 765, did you do it for the other forms ( I 130 and I 131 )?

7/28/04 we met

10/ /06 started dating long distance, not fun

7/15/08 we gave birth to a beautiful baby boy

11/11/10 we got married in amazing Santa Barbara

11/17/10 mailed I 130, I 131, AP and EAD

11/25/10 package received

12/06/10 checks cashed

12/08/10 Email/ text

12/11/10 NOA hard copies in the mail

01/ /11 biometrics walk in successful in Oxnard
