Mine too, but I think it's to do with the fee increase? My guess is that the system automatically rejects if the receipt date is on or after November 23rd, so as long as the postmark was on or before the 22nd, they're marking it as received then to not confuse the system. Just a theory, mind you! lol

I just noticed we have almost the exact same timeline! :) Hubby is at biometrics now. Good luck!

That was exactly what I said! That my first Christmas present was from the government! :rofl:

I applied for a SSN yesterday and should receive it shortly. Didn't apply for a learner's permit yet because the BMV office was PACKED!

Got the new medical since I received and RFE for the first one. I think the issue was that it was not signed by me. However, paranoia kicked right back on when I was comparing the copy of this most recent medical with the other one and noticed that while they had put down info about Syphilis test, they didn't actually check the little square by it. I'm hoping it won't cause me to receive another RFE (do they even send another one if the RFE response isn't right?)

At any rate, here's for trying to please the government. :P

dude, i am sooooo jealous....

i check my USCIS account once a day and there's been nothing since my biometrics appointment....

I know its a different office, but its pretty frustrating......

We haven't had any regular mail for about a week due to the big storm here, I think i may have to call them next week sometime....

I know its a different office, but its pretty frustrating......

We haven't had any regular mail for about a week due to the big storm here, I think i may have to call them next week sometime....

For what it's worth, I didn't get much updates on USCIS. I got one for EAD and I think that's it.

I'm just hoping that the speedy pace is a good sign that, so far, there is no snag.

I agree. Our local office is in Ohio. When we went for biometrics, there was only 2-3 people in the room with us. If biometrics are any indication of how busy they are...

I agree. Our local office is in Ohio. When we went for biometrics, there was only 2-3 people in the room with us. If biometrics are any indication of how busy they are...

01/03/11 ------- Received SSN card in the mail

01/07/11 ------- Mailed out response to RFE (I-693)

01/15/11 ------- Email confirming USCIS received RFE response

01/31/11 ------- Approved!

Pre-Adjustment of Status:

2006 -------- Met Online

02/07 ------- Visited him in the U.S. for what was suppose to be a few weeks (Came in with birth certificate and health card. Health card expired a few months after)

08/07 ------- Decided to get married because we didn't want to be apart (in the U.S.)

10/10 ------- USCIS Medical Done
