you guys are probably going to kill me but i have one more question as i just finished my cover letters. I was doing some research on other people cover letters, and it's getting confusing with the birth certificate and the marriage licence. some people put the birth certificate with the I-765, some people with I-131, some people with I485. the marriage licence same thing....so what goes with what??

the uscis instruction forms for I-765 is so confusing too.

Please help :help:

Ok thank you guys, if anyone here is from virginia i'll buy you a beer when i am done with this. :P

I put marriage cert with 130 because that is the document establishing a relationship. I put my (USC) birth certificate with 130 because I needed to establish I am qualified to file this petition. We put my husband's (foreign) birth certificate with the 485 because it establishes his identity and eligibility for AOS.

765 is confusing because it is used for all sort of EADs. You will probably only have your EAD for a month tops before you get your GC so don't sweat it too much. The approval for that and AP is basically compulsory for AOS applicants. The only extra thing we put for 765 was 2 passport photos.

Okay, I am coming to claim my beer! :P Can it be a cool romanian beer?

Silvana - it's easy stuff.

Everything that has to do with you goes in general with I-485, everything that has to do with your sponsor goes in general with I-130.

The other thing about I-765 being filed within 90 days is just a false rumor. :star:
