Its almost nightmarish these days planning to have children. There are so many new regulations for what's acceptable and what's not. They cannot even play tag at recess anymore. Officials are too worried that the ones who perform poorly will develop a complex with low self esteem. It's a world full of pansies, I tell ya! How will the world survive if we keep dumbing down to suit the weakest? Survival of the fittest isn't just a term, it's a fact. In the animal kingdom the weakest are destroyed. Makes me think that old movie with Sly Stallone "Demolition Man" isn't too far from our actual future. A population of sissies!

I know what you mean! At my daughters school, parents were trying to sue a family for sexual harrassment because their girl got "tagged" on her butt!

At my elementary school, we were actually spanked by the principal for misbehaving. Some of the male students even had crushes on her. Good thing I had the mentality/maturity of an 8 year old.

Not a big country fan or an American Idol fan, but this song was very good. Says it all perfectly. I especially like the part about "not every kid made the team, but that was alright..." Good find.
