What is irrational about the American electorate delivering a message loud and clear that WE DON'T WANT IT! GET IT!

I mean Obama and the Dems had all the hints they needed. Losing the Kennedy seat in MASS was like hitting them between the eyes with a 2x4 and yet they CONTINUED to govern against the will of the people. And even wiggled through the process of legislation and NOW have the NADS to say that "Republicans are the party of NO". Now we will KICK THEM OUT! Clearly, unambiguously KICK THEM OUT.

There was no suggestion of irrationality when the Repubs got booted in 2006 and none when Obama ran against "Bush" in 2008. It was far more irrational, as we see now, to elect Obama, but now, because this isn;t going the way of the liberal Dems it is "irrational" Nonsense. This is exactly what is supposed to happen, this is exactly why we do not need trem limits. we have elections every two years and we can limit how long someone is there with a ballot.

I am thrilled to see the American public paying attention and understanding that they have been railroaded into a liberal agenda. The American people need to pay attention more often. It is their responsibility.

Obama has basically NOT done what he said or what he did do was just a mess. Gitmo is still open, the wars are still on, the economy still sucks, unemployment is higher, spending is out of control and they are doing nothing to stop it, we have a healthcare bill that basically NO ONE wanted but only what they could get on short notice. We have bought into failing businesses we had no business doing. We (the government) is contolling auto manufacturers, banks, insurance companies all the stuff they are NOT supposed to do. There WERE no "shovel ready jobs". This government stinks to high heaven and TODAY we will change it.

It is one of the more rational things the American people have ever done.

People here are irrational on just about everything.

Not Aussies or Canadians..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Discuss.

It's quite simple actually. Over here, they think they are voting out Obama. They'll even put Bin Laden in office if he has a R next to his name.

The also have a knack of ignoring every other country doing better and just branding them as socialist. Yet strange whose dollar is worth more, as of this morning, you can add the Aussie dollar to this list.

Looks like little government has failed miserably.

Very true

Socialist!

And proud of it :P

It's just sad really that the average yank who is beating on against the European, Canadian, Australian approach to running a country, in all honestly could not even dream of the life - the Q.O.L - the average Joe equivalents are actually living there.

Even the rightest of the right I know in various countries would never endorse teaparty / libertarian style tax policies or system of government - not one. In fact, this is the first point anyone who has a clued up from abroad makes when it comes to discussing how the US. For example, "hey any bridges fallen down today" followed by laughter.
