You should contact your lawyer, because at minimum he/she should have notification of delivery. They should have sent your package with a service that provides delivery confirmation.

Also, it is also possible that if he sent it on the 9th, that you might have also received your NOA1. It would also be "normal" for this to take a little bit more time.

Did you file a G-1145? You should then be receiving electronic notifications of items such as your NOA1. (But, of course, you would not receive the delivery notification that would be supplied by the shipper - USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).

I just sent an email to my attorney asking if they've recieved any reciepts yet,

I'm adjusting my status thru my spouse who is a U.S citizen

Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

AOS- Went in for Biometrics. Dec 15th at 8am. Pretty fast..took bout 20 min in and out for mother and child.

AOS- Approved Feb 8 Permanent residency

We just sent our application yesterday, right after we picked up I-693 sealed.Hope everything will be alright.

We received the biometrics appointment letter on Friday for a December 13, 2010 Milwaukee, WI appointment. From what I have seen on here, it sounds like walk-ins at Milwaukee haven't been successful in the last few years. So, I think we will be waiting for his appointment - it's only 3 weeks away :)

I didn't know it was possible to do walk-ins, interesting. We'll wait too though, no big deal.

I received a Rejection Notice today cos they returned our check for EAD $340. :wacko:

"Recently, you submitted an application for immigration benefits. That form was submitted with an extra remittance that is not required to process your application, or the incorrect fee was submitted. Your check is being returned to you with this notice. No additional action by you is required at this time. Please comply with any other reject notice you may receive."

So I wait for some more Rejection notice or NOA1? but does it mean that my EAD is also rejected? :blink::bonk:

pookie: Sounds like they're just returning the check. As long as the other one was for $1010, you should be fine. The EAD fee is included in that.

Was the other check for $1010? If so, you're good and the check should be getting cashed today or pretty soon. Did you mail both applications together? your EAD would still be processed along with the AOS. You may want to use the EAD receipt # from the e-notification and check the case status.

Oh yeah, you just got them on Friday, give it a couple business days and you should be able to track them. Took my cases 2 days to be trackable on their site. Maybe Wednesday should work for ya :yes:
