GOT THE GREEN CARD TODAY.... Didnt know they had to have the name and birthday on the card 50 times lol Happy to be done!!!

Here we go i received the welcome letter in the mail today AND i also received my green card!!!!! UNBELIEVABEL!!!! feels soooooo weird holding it in my hands and knowing no more immigration for less than two years!!!! hahaha

Got my GC in mail today. YAY! When do I need to apply for a 10 year GC if this one expires 03/07/2013.

my expiration date is way off... 2 whole months off that is . I'll have to send my GC back for USCIS to fix the error... I hope it won't take another 3 months

one thing that im still curious about is where is my EAD and AP???? like i said i have never been able to track it on USCIS and well it never has arrived...????

If you have your GC, I wouldn't worry about it because EAD and AP are of no use now anyway.

Just had my 2nd fingerprints taken. This time only 2/10 were rejected (ring and pink on left hand) and she said the prints were good. Hope it is okay this time.

I went to the SS office this morning to change my last name on my SS card (so I can go and get my FL driving license); to find out USCIS hasn't updated my Permanent resident status and I am still in the system under some other immigration status. They gave me a note that says: Before we can issue you a SSN card, we must verify the documents you gave us to show your Citizenship Alien with the Federal, State, or Local office....

Should I call USCIS or set an infopass at the local office? I don't want to wait 4 weeks just to get a denial notice.
