Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

Another November filer approved at interview today. Was very funny, actually and there's some intersting info about my daughter's K-2 and ROC that I'll share over on the K-2 thread :)

Really tired and relieved it's all done and dusted for another 21 months, so am going for a nap and will post a more complete review later!

Timeline Summary:

K-1/K-2 NOA1 - POE: 9 February - 9 July 2010

Married: 17 July 2010

AOS mailed - Interview : 22 November 2010 - 10 March 2011

ROC mailed - approved: 14 February - 18 June 2013

Contacted congressman's office with inquiry to expedite AP: January 12th 2011
EAD approved: January 13th
EAD received: not sure, I was overseas, but I know it arrived between January 24th and 28th
AP approved - no update on USCIS; I was notified of approval by Congressman: January 13th
AP received: January 21st
Started job hunting: February 11th
Interview: March 7th @ 2.35 pm - GC APPROVED!
Received GC in mail: March 14th

Congratulations to everyone!!! God is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know my hubby's case is not K1, but I just wanted to share that his interview was today (3-10-11), it was about 1 hr long, I was pretty much the one being interviewed but in the end he was approved and will receive his 10 yr visa!
