Well I decided to call USCIS about our RFE.. The person I talked to confirmed that they knew I sent the papers on November 22nd and thats the date they go by in order to determine if we need another medical.. Seeing as we got his medical done December 8 2009 We were before the 1 year cutoff... He confirmed that we were but said that the government is "looking into" only using the 1 year for people who have filed but havent been APPROVED FOR AOS within a year.. Which is complete ####### because they havent decided to make it a law/rule yet or not.. I really think its not fair to want us to get another one since we filed within the year.. So we have to pay for another exam gas hotel room for 2 days since the TB test takes awhile.. If I hadnt filed before the year was over I understand that I should have to do it but I did file before the year.. The representative that I spoke to told me its pointless to fight it because it would take too long to resolve it and our case would probably be closed before they even read the message that would be sent lol So looks like we are getting a medical done!

Sorry that non-sense happened to you but the representative had his point. I know it sucks!

Hi all,

I have been browsing for a while now but this is my first time posting. I filed on 11/22/10 and did the bio on 1/5/11. Even since the bio I didn't hear anything else from them,no EAD no interview letter or anything.I try check my case online but it keep saying case can not be found. Is this normal? Did any one with my timeline get EAD yet or interview letter? Am starting to worry that something might be wrong.

What is the date on your NOA1? I filed on Nov 29 and my NOA date was Dec 10. I just get my EAD and AP approved but I have not heard anything for AOS. May be yours are on the way. As for the online checking system, don't rely on it too much as some people are still showing "initial review" even though they have received their AP/EAD already.

Oh Wow, good news!!!! I got notification for EAD and AP on Feb 12 too. May be I'll hear somethingfor AOS interview tomorrow.

Have my fingers crossed for you. The process is moving much faster than anticipated.

We did sent in actual photos in the package. We glued those photos on the papers. I guess the IO return it to us because it was too bulky for them to keep in the file hence IO prefer to just photocopy it from the album. Besides the wedding photos, pics of us with friends and family is what the IO was looking for.

My NOA1 was on Dec 1 and my EAD and AP were approved just 5 days ago... I could not find my cases online either, but one day they just appeared on the USCIS website in approval/card production phase...

Husband received his AP document yesterday (2/15/2011)!! We also received our AOS appointment date which is set for March 18 in Cleveland. The EAD is approved and we are also waiting to receive it. February has been an eventful month! :)

Thanks again. Now, I guess I just have to reprint to show more pictures since I dont have the actual album. We dont have any utility bills with our name on it. we only have bank account and insurance. I hope it suffices. Two weeks til the interview date!

We just received notification that card production was ordered for I485 AOS! No interview, and a couple of weeks earlier than we anticipated, assuming everything went well. What a relief! No lawyers. No delays. No RFEs. DONE! Whew! Thanks everyone for all your support! This has been a great site. Good luck to all!
