Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

AOS- Received Nov.12 2010 Chicago Lockbox

AOS- Received NOA1 Nov. 16 via email

AOS- Received Hard Copy Noa1's via US Postal Nov 18.

AOS- i485,EAD,AP for wife/ EAD for child touched Nov.19

AOS- Received Biometrics for mother and child Nov.22nd via US Postal scheduled for Dec 15th.

AOS- Went in for Biometrics. Dec 15th at 8am. Pretty fast..took bout 20 min in and out for mother and child.

AOS- Recieved NOA2 Jan 10th. Appt set for Feb.8th at 1:30pm

AOS- Approved Feb 8 Permanent residency

We dropped my husbands AOS packet in the mail about 1 hour ago --- it should be delivered in Chicago tomorrow by noon (stinks that its a Saturday but what are ya gonna do?).

Happy to have it in the mail and to begin this process!

Recieved our hard copy receipts today for AOS, EAD,AP, for wife and daughter. They recieved it on the 10th of Nov. Took 8 days for the receipts. I hope it goes this fast for approvals:)

AOS- Sent Nov. 8th 2010 Chicago Lockbox

Wow! COngratulations! That is really an excellent news for all of us. We have more or less the same timeline, we got our NOA1 the day after you had it. Hopefully, we will also be receiving the biometrics appointment letter anytime soon. Keep the faith! :)
