My AP should be coming soon :whistle:

Yay!!!! Congratulations! So so happy for! Time to celebrate dear! Chances are you receive your AP in the mail out of the blue like me. It was approved on the same day with my EAD :D

Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

hi i mailed my AOS november 15 i receive ead and advance parole but i compeleted my biometric on january 3 my i-485 still showing initial review my case is with msc.Does anyone receive i-485 approve despite uscis showing initial review.

hi i mailed my AOS november 15 i receive ead and advance parole but i compeleted my biometric on january 3 my i-485 still showing initial review my case is with msc.Does anyone receive i-485 approve despite uscis showing initial review.

Sounds like you've not had an interview date set by your local office yet. Some people have been transferred to the California Service Center (CSC), which usually means they don't require an interview, others are interviewed at their local CIS office. Some offices are slower than others - have you looked at the processing times for your local office to see how quickly they usually work?

Timeline Summary:

K-1/K-2 NOA1 - POE: 9 February - 9 July 2010

Married: 17 July 2010

AOS mailed - Interview : 22 November 2010 - 10 March 2011

ROC mailed - approved: 14 February - 18 June 2013

Citizenship mailed - ceremony: 9 February - 7 June 2017

My Green Card arrived on Saturday, and I don't have to do any jobhunting because the place where I have been doing voluntary work have took me on full-time.

Happy. No more USCIS til November 2012.
