I think they interview if you have a K-2 too, and maybe if they've RFEed you for anything. Who can tell.

We've not had snow, so my Local office has no excuse. I really need my EAD now, it's driving me crazy. A December filer has received hers recently... I really don't understand why there's a hold up between biometrics and EAD/AP issuance.

I hear you SunDrop! I don't know why it takes so long for EAD! With the GC nowhere in sight (AOS transferred to CSC and God knows how long it takes them to process my file) I need the EAD more than air right now! :huh:

Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

Hang in there SunDrop. I'm with you! It's been over two months since I filed but I still haven't seen anything in mail or sms. At least you have your interview scheduled already. It's getting close.

Hi guys! I guess we're all in the same boat..I filed my AOS/EAD/AP last Nov. 27..the Chicago Lockbox received it by Nov. 29...I'm still waiting for my EAD and AP too..I can see in our "EDIT your Timeline" page that our EAD and AP might be coming within this week til the 25th. So hang in there Nov. 2010 filers! :) hopefully within this week we'll all get our EADs.
