I think I just got an e-update and texts for our interview for 10 March, except it says it's at the NBC? lol Bloody well better not be!

"On February 1, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for March 10, 2011, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice."

I think I just got an e-update and texts for our interview for 10 March, except it says it's at the NBC? lol Bloody well better not be!

"On February 1, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for March 10, 2011, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice."

I believe that means they physically approved it at the NBC rather than your interview will be at the NBC. When you receive the notice it will tell you where, when and what time your interview will be.

I had my AOS interview today at the Jacksonville Field Office and got approved. The IO was friendly and only asked us how and where we met. We were not asked to produce any documents, photos or anything else. Just the two questions and we were approved. All the evidence i had carried with me was not looked at at all. I can say that i had the best interview experience. I wish all the November filers and the rest of us the best.

I had my AOS interview today at the Jacksonville Field Office and got approved. The IO was friendly and only asked us how and where we met. We were not asked to produce any documents, photos or anything else. Just the two questions and we were approved. All the evidence i had carried with me was not looked at at all. I can say that i had the best interview experience. I wish all the November filers and the rest of us the best.

Another day without any news, i am sad, i know is not enough time... oh well...

I had my AOS Interview at New Orleans office today.

Like others, it was straightforward, we were asked for ID and some evidence that we were living together - we produced a joint bank statement, joint auto insurance and life insurance showing each other as beneficiaries.

The IO said that she was happy with what we had, and that she really didn't feel like talking about what color the paint in the bedroom is for half an hour. Explained that GC would take up to 8 weeks, but usually 2-4, and that EAD was proof of status til then. A brief discussion about soccer vs football, but then the IO noticed we had some wedding photos, so she had a look through them. The interview was over with in seven minutes.

So - relieved it's all over for two years and the only "problem" so far was the US Embassy in London.
