Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

I think that there is something wrong with the notification/update system at USCIS.

I just got another email saying that my EAD is now in Card Production as of today, but I already got an email saying that it was in Card Production on January 21st.

I think what we see on the USCIS website and emails needs to be "taken with a pinch of salt" - I had no updates or touches on my EAD application, or my AOS, but I've been for biometrics and have an interview scheduled.

This is to answer the questions why some of us received the Card production email twice with 2 different dates.

Someone called USCIS and the explaination is

first email - order production on our card

2nd email - normally ready to be mailed out to us

Then EAD status in USCIS website will change to 'Post Decision Activity"

Can anybody let me know please if they recived interview letter from los angeles lately i filed on novmber 3 2010 and no word from them yet. I am so worried Thanks

I'm not in LA but there's been no visible movement on my case. Whilst quite a few people here have received their EAD's or notifications/Interview appointments and even Greencards....there's been nothing on my end.

I contacted my Senator. They said my case is now being reviewed...so we'll wait and see I guess :(

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready to work now :(

After my biometrics i haven't received anything else yet, only that it was transfer to CSC... i just want to start working, i am in the same situation... at least a posted my resume in Monster.com and got a few calls, i just wanted to see if my resume was good enough so at least for that part i am a bit less concern...ill get a job soon, is in Gods and CSC hands now :(

i have received three emails and three text messages. so I am assuming that the first was the NOA that I just received saying that I my AOS has been approved, the second would be the actually production of the card and I am hoping the third is the actual sending of the card.

I got my EAD notice in the e-mail on Thursday! I am extremely happy this day has come and now I am waiting for my Green Card. Whoo hooo!

Woohoo!!! We received the "official" Welcome to the United States of America letter for my husband in the mail today!! Hopefully the actual card will be here soon -- cant wait to be able to offically post "NO MORE IMMIGRATION FOR 2 YEARS"!!!!

I hope things start moving for everyone here in the NOvember filers thread!!!

My husband was asked what I would think the routine questions that you would expect to be asked at an immigration interview. Pretty much the same questions as in the K1 interview, however, you should know its not only the beneficiary who is being asked questions to -- the USC will aslo be asked questions.

If you dont recall what was asked in your K1 or CR1 interview send me a pm and I will give you some more details.
