No job yet unfortunately, I'm sure one will come along soon!

Got my CA driver's license no problem as I had already completed my written and driving test. At the time they wouldn't issue the license as I had less than 60 days left on my I-94.

Brought in my completed driving test form and they issued me an interim license. They said the actual card would be mailed out when everything had been checked with immigration.

Had a question for people out there. Although I've gotten my EAD, I haven't heard anything about my AOS yet. No interview date, nothing on the USCIS site and no email/texts with updates. I'm a little concerned, I just want to know if anyone has had a similar experience?

I posted the same question last week. Finally, it's not only me. I'm in the same situation as you are. I'm also wondering about it.

I think that there is something wrong with the notification/update system at USCIS.

I just got another email saying that my EAD is now in Card Production as of today, but I already got an email saying that it was in Card Production on January 21st.

I think what we see on the USCIS website and emails needs to be "taken with a pinch of salt" - I had no updates or touches on my EAD application, or my AOS, but I've been for biometrics and have an interview scheduled.

Yep - so did I. Even more interesting is my husbands GC was approved yesterday so why the need to touch the EAD today? Bizarre

Congrats..

Thanks!!! Sending good MOJO to all who are waiting!!!

Turnip cake is very delicious. I always like that cake. Care to share with me the recipe. I just know how to eat. Never make 1 before. I didn't have any touch since I received my NOA1 but I'm sure they are working on your case. I'm praying for u :)

Actually, u can go to uscis local office to applky for emergency AP. They will give u a stamp in the passport. I read it somewhere in this forum. Maybe you can try that or contact your congressman. It seems AP approval seem to be very late nowadays.

Yeah, I experienced something similar.

First it said my EAD was in production on January 14th. Then it changed the production date to January 19th.

Then it went back a step to Post-Decision Activity saying the EAD was approved and a notice had been mailed on January 21st. Phew!

I received the physical EAD card on January 24th, so don't worry I'd say yours is on its way!

I posted the same question last week. Finally, it's not only me. I'm in the same situation as you are. I'm also wondering about it.

Glad I'm not the only one who's experiencing this. I don't know what to think, is it a good thing or a bad thing that I'm hearing nothing?

It was the same way for my EAD and that got processed pretty quickly.

Would be nice if you could actually talk to someone on the USCIS number. I'd like to know how my application is going since I've heard nothing since getting my biometrics..
