i filed my aos last october 29... but i think i'm more of a november 2010 filer than an october filer. :)

just received my biometrics appointment :)

Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

I tried to check again my status on the USCIS website but cant find any result using the receipt number sent to me yesterday thru SMS. My receipt number starts with MSC, and on the wesite it says case/receipt numbers starts with EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC. I think we have to wait for out NOA2 to check our cases online just like before when we were filing for our K1 visa. Have a great journey everyone. :thumbs:

My receipt numbers are also MSC, they are working now and i was able to check status, "Initial Review" on all 3. Just took a couple days to be available.

Wow! That's good news! I just checked mine today and my I-751 application is on it initial review. Cant still see the status of my AOS application, maybe its on the way. :thumbs:

We dropped my husbands AOS packet in the mail about 1 hour ago --- it should be delivered in Chicago tomorrow by noon (stinks that its a Saturday but what are ya gonna do?).

Happy to have it in the mail and to begin this process!

We sent our packet on Monday the 8th throught USPS return reciept. They said Friday arrival. Does USCIS send out the email notification the day its recieved or the day that they sort through the packet?

AOS- Received Hard Copy Noa1's via US Postal Nov 18.

AOS- i485,EAD,AP for wife/ EAD for child touched Nov.19

AOS- Received Biometrics for mother and child Nov.22nd via US Postal scheduled for Dec 15th.

AOS- Went in for Biometrics. Dec 15th at 8am. Pretty fast..took bout 20 min in and out for mother and child.

AOS- Recieved NOA2 Jan 10th. Appt set for Feb.8th at 1:30pm

AOS- Approved Feb 8 Permanent residency

Did you check the USPS website to see if your package arrived today? I think it takes USCIS a few days for notification. Looking at the profiles around on here I've seen between 3-5 days. Some have been longer but I'm "hoping" to be in the early range lol.

Give 'em a couple business days. Mine got delivered on the 3rd and i got notified on Monday 8th.

We received the paper NOAs in the mail today.

Wow..hopefully they wont have you refile. You might not make it for the Nov 23rd deadline.
