Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

We finally received mail today. :yes:NOA for interview. Our interview appointment is set for Wednesday 2/23 @ 10:30. :thumbs: Kinda far out, but that's fine. Nothing on AP/EAD yet. Nothing on the website as far as touches since 11/15.

Well, I really hope that I don't need any help from our representative at any point because she was shot point blank in the head this afternoon. My in-laws both worked for many years with one of her aides who was shot. Truly shocking news. We're keeping all those affected and afflicted in our thoughts.

Hoping you get that this week, don't recall seeing anyone report getting it yet in this thread but someone who filed late October got it approved a couple days ago. Good luck. Also hope you don't get your interview appt set during your trip. Seems pretty random there too. I guess it's based on your location. Ours was set over a month away. Others, like Elizabeth, had their interview set in just a couple weeks or less.

This morning I received a text -

Your case MSC###### is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov. *Msg and Data Rates May Apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop text alerts.

I logged into my account on uscis.gov and I see that the last updated date changed for only the I-485 to 1/10/11. I think this is basically saying that CSC has acknowledged receiving our I-485. On 12/3/2010 we received notice that the I-485 was being transferred to CSC. We haven't had any other touches on anything (AP or EAD) other than this CSC transfer. Good to see some movement, just a bit slow if all that has happened has transfer to CSC and basically acknowledgment that CSC has received it.

Hoping to hear something regarding AP and EAD soon. We are hoping to go visit my husband's family in Wales for his birthday at the end of February...but are definitely waiting to buy tickets until AP is in our hands!

Good luck to everyone...let's hope for some approvals for the November group and everybody else!
