Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

sent off my AOS today for wife and child. Beat the post office by 10 minutes before close! Thanks to everyone that helped. Now..just hoping for a shutout...no rfe's!!!

AOS- Went in for Biometrics. Dec 15th at 8am. Pretty fast..took bout 20 min in and out for mother and child.

2020 - Started Naturalization ppwk prior to COVID pandemic, and when we couldn't get passport photos at local AAA office - set it aside

October 4, 2022 - ASAP turned into putzing and putting off...and finally filing on 10/4/22.

11/25/22 - Received notice of N-400 Interview on 1/5/23

so i got 6 texts and 6 emails with 3 different receipt numbers but none of the receipt numbers work? im going to call them on my lunch.

Yay! i am part of the Nov Filers... I just sent mine out today via Priority May with Delivery confirmation :) I am having trouble understand the terms like touched, NOA, NVC and so on and so forth.. so what do i / we need to expect now? i am have no clue from this point onwards.. all i know, after i came back from the post office.. i literaly sleep the entire afternoon until now.. was so exhausted with the paperwork and all...

anyway, good luck to all and may all of us have a favorable answers from soon!

Yay! I just received 3 texts from USCIS saying that my application was received! I was starting to get nervous that they would be rejecting it for some reason (some weird check issue, not having the right version of a form, etc.) I really want to have the NOA1 in hand for when we fly domestically to Florida at the end of the month since his I-94 is expired.

I'd guess your check will be cashed in approximately 7-10 days from today. I'd also expect the email/sms notification that they'd receive it will come in approximately 7-10 days. It possibly could happen as early as 5 days, but to avoid driving yourself crazy..I'd plan for 7-10!

My receipt numbers are also not recognized yet, probably a some kind of delay on their part in updating their databases. Did you call them?
