November 2010 Filers

For those of you adjusting from non-family based visas (K-1 for example) there is a forum especially discussing the AOS process for adjusting from a tourist/ student/ work visa. Worth looking/ asking there for more informed answers.

Looks like early October filers are getting their EAD and APs now. These are usually processed ahead of the actual GC/ I-485. Early October also had 1 GC interview and several appointments for end January/ early Feb, so looks like November filers will start getting their EAD/APs later in January and interviews in February/ March. But hey, it's all just a guessing game!

EAD & AP approved. Im so happy after waiting for a whole one month without any touches. And i got the interview letter on Monday.

Spelad and HappyRs, and the rest who are tired of waiting, guys hang in there, Its worth the patience. Something is coming your way, its only a matter of time. I had an RFE in my case and u cant even start thinking how nerve wrecking it is to wait especially without any word from USCIS for a whole one month. Just give it a few more days. Wish all good luck in this journey.

Got an email from USCIS today for RFE. Not touch for AP and EAD. Is that why I have not got a Biometric if I have a RFE?

Me too, late Monday night. Am trying not to get overly distracted by what it's for, since I'm just grateful we're not apart during this process. I think I may have forgotten to include my mother-in-law's birth certificate in our I-864 co-sponsor's evidence. It's something that affects both my daughter and me, since both our I-485s received RFEs. AP and EAD are processed somewhere else, and they haven't been touched since December 13th.

We've done our biometrics, though. I'd chase up on those, if I were you CQ...

Me too, late Monday night. Am trying not to get overly distracted by what it's for, since I'm just grateful we're not apart during this process. I think I may have forgotten to include my mother-in-law's birth certificate in our I-864 co-sponsor's evidence. Thanks SunDrop. Nice to see you again. We were both in the same Feb Filer thread before. I got my RFE text message before I went for a massage and I could not relax myself at all during the massage session and kept think what I missed. I checked my package three times before I sent it. As for biometric I will wait may be for another week since according to other VJers they will just ask you to wait for 30 more days. Good luck and keep us posted!

Oh I am tired of waiting as well. I just really hope to get my EAD card by Feb.

i know that other VJ memebrs said that online tracking system is not very realiable , but with me it says that

* Customer Portfolio Insert Failed

* Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the application receipt number.

and I did my biometrics on Dec 20! anyone else is not able to log in? and i think only two people got their EAd card so far from Nov. filers?

At this moment I will just keep waiting and hoping. I keep telling myself the AP will be in mail tomorrow!!!!

Got the RFE letters today and as suspected, it was for my co-sponsor's citizenship/ residency proof. Photocopied her birth cert from my I-134 records and sent it Express leaving tomorrow, to arrive Monday.

I'm hopeful that as soon as they match the evidence up with our files that they'll authorize and issue the EAD.

A reminder is going in my signature, because it was such a stupid omission.
