I'd wondered about that, because I'm suffering from really dry hands and nothing I do except use bottles of hand cream even eases the discomfort, never mind actually healing the split and/or peeling skin. It's so gross but also not going to be very helpful when it comes to fingerprinting, I don't think :(

No ,I did today front and back

Did you send a copy of your I-94 front and back, and a copy of your K-1 when you submitted your application?

The general rule of thumb is always copies, unless specifically asked for the original. You'd usually be expected to take originals to interview for examination if they ask for it.

Please can you quote exactly what was written on the RFE.

If it's not too late, I'd include a copy of your K-1 visa page too. That way, you know you've got it all covered. And don't forget to include a copy of the RFE.

Congrats :)

Just a quick note, in your signature when you refer to the appointment, you say it's a 'walk-in'. If it's an appointment, it's not a walk-in. When people are referring to their biometrics as a walk-in, it means that they've gone with their ID and the appointment letter to see if they can have their biometrics processed ahead of their appointment date.

It depends how far you are from your appointment location as to whether you want to risk being turned away or not. Some people believe this helps speed up the EAD/ AP approvals, because until your biometrics are completed, nothing can be decided on your case.

Argh I'm so upset after reading all your updates. WE filed Nov 1, got our NOA1 on the 9th and since then nothing no touches on the AOS until this past Monday stating that it has been sent to the National Benefits Center. What's depressing is that everyone I filed before has either received a notice for their biometrics or have completed them. We're still waiting for them to send us a biometrics appt. This is just crazy.

Since it's been 30 days, you should call USCIS about it and they'll put in a service request for you (I'm not sure that's how it's called). Good luck to you!

i got a touch two days ago... lol... not want to get excited that maybe thats my biometrics appointment that is going to be send... i just wish... today i was looking over the internet possible jobs, recipes for dinner, laying on the couch with nothing to do except wait... is soo cold to go outside and coming from a Country that is hot all year i have to get used to this weather.

My life, basically revolves around my husband coming home and me making dinner, nothing much, keep the house clean, go to the dry cleaners, the 99ct store o supermarket. I miss working, my friends, my family, my cat... my dominican food, that i can cook here but it doesn't taste the same :( . But must of all i miss my coffee, my strong dominican coffee that woke me up every morning, here i have to "love" dunking donuts or nestle, that is good, but not my coffee, that coffee that i am so used to since i started to drink coffee behind my moms back.

Fingers cross i don't go or drive my husband crazy this days because the waiting is bad, but the cold weather is worst, because i cant go out that often...

And saying all the bad feelings about this process, i am sooo happy that this part is next to the man i decided to live with the rest of my life, because the K1 visa process was by myself.

I totally understand how you feel. The waiting is crazy. Hopefully you will receive those letters soon. I too came from all year summer country. I miss everything about it. Food, friends, family, job and sunny day. At least you will understand how I feel and vice versa. Lol. Good luck anyway

Going to try a walk-in tomorrow or Friday, and also ask them to clarify/ rectify the 11 year old's call for biometrics.
