Solmarc, I received the acceptance notifications on my cell phone and in my email today (12/10). Hopefully we get the NOA1s in the mail soon!

Hey VARYAG mine was sent on the 27th but they got it there on the 29th, so maybe between tomorrow or Monday you'll get an answer.

Yayyyy that means i was right, happy for you too.. fingers cross, i am getting desperate after eight years working non stop and now this "vacations" are driving me crazy... cant wait to start to look and get a job... lol...

Hi Everyone, I'm also Nov filer. I sent package on Nov 26 and got text messages with three receipt numbers for AOS, EAD, and AP on my cell phone yesterday.

Michael & I went to his Biometrics appointment today in Milwaukee, WI. Everything was really easy - was less than 30 minutes from entering the door until exiting.

We arrived about 15 minutes early (after finding parking about 2 blocks away - all the really close stuff was taken, and it was 10F outside, with reported wind chills as low as -20F). We went through security after showing them his passport & appointment letter. It wasn't a problem for me to go with him. We then checked in at the Biometrics office, who gave us a short info sheet to fill out, a buzzer that would go off when we were to come back and directed us to wait upstairs. We both came back when the buzzer went off, about 5-10 minutes later. They asked me to wait upstairs. Michael was done with the fingerprints & photo and we left.

I have my biometrics appointment of thursday at 2pm. I hope its gonna be quick and easy. How long after that can I expect to get EAD&AP...money's getting tight...

Seems to take just under 90 days for most people. I'm guessing sometime in mid January we could be receiving our EADs.

BTW, Does anyone know if my under 14 year old daughter will need to attend the interview, assuming we'll have one? I know she doesn't need to do biometrics.

Got a ref mail and still no biometrics appointment

Still waiting for USCIS to confirm receipt of the RFE package. Its now one week since it was delivered. Its nerve wrecking. My cases are still the same online, no touches since my biometrics on 2nd Dec. Just waiting.............waiting.......hoping for some good news this week. Its not such a good feeling just not knowing whats going on. All the best guys.

Did you send a copy of your I-94 front and back, and a copy of your K-1 when you submitted your application?

The general rule of thumb is always copies, unless specifically asked for the original. You'd usually be expected to take originals to interview for examination if they ask for it.

Please can you quote exactly what was written on the RFE.

Had my biometric this morning at Albany, NY. It wasn't that smooth as they were unable to capture my fingerprint properly. This is due to the fact that I touch a lot of water with my hand hence making the computer hard to capture the fingerprints. The lady then told me that I must wash a lot (which is true). So she make me put some hand cream and keep rubbing my fingers. According to her, this will help. So when we try again for the second time, it was better but still not perfect. Some still unable to be captured properly. She said chances are that I might need to come back again. She said if I receive another letter to have my biometric taken again then I have to put lots of hand cream and rubbing my fingers few days before hand.Also try to minimise touching water. So, if anyone is soon going to have his or hers biometric, put some hand cream and keep rubbing all the 5 fingers. Hopefullý the rest will have a smooth biometric session. Hopefully I don't need to come back but if I do, at least I know whaþ to do next. Hand cream ppl!
