Have you heard anything or had your check clear yet? I didn't complete the e-notification forms, figuring the NOA1s would come pretty quickly and with both our K-1 and K-2 AOSes was sick to the teeth of form-filling! lol

I know my parcel got there via USPS delivery confirmation on November 26th, and the fact that it's not come back yet is a good thing, I'm reckoning :)

Timeline Summary:

K-1/K-2 NOA1 - POE: 9 February - 9 July 2010

hey everybody!!!!

im a november filer as well. sent out the package on the 22nd of november and today received the text message and emails saying the following:

Your USCIS application/petition has been received and routed to the National Benefits Center for processing.....blablablabla etc =)

just wondering what this whole NBC thing is all about? is it to speed it up like i read? thanks for any kind of input on this =) and of course:

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY!!!!

sarah

Welcome! I received the same kind of letter. A couple of months ago I had to pay a visit to the USCIS office here in Omaha for a problem with my I-94. There, an officer gave me all the forms I need to fill out for AOS and she said that the Chicago Lockbox is only their "bank". That's where the check is cashed and where they send the NOAs from, but the file is forwarded to NBC. If later on your file will be sent to CSC, then you'll know there will be no interview...

Good luck!

Not true. There's a good chance of avoiding an interview if transferred to CSC, but it's no guarantee. There are people on here who still had an interview after being transferred.

Biometrics completed today

Arrived and helped wife fill out a quick application form, turned it in and was seated in another room for processing. Done in 20 minutes. Received a dated and signed stamp on the appointment letter which was given back to her. Now we wait :innocent:

edit: there was a little bump at first, she used her passport for ID and the names didn't match the letter because she took my last name. We were told to get the marriage cert, but she had brought her state ID also and that had her married name which matched the appointment letter. Be sure ID matches the name on the letter!

All the people I know or read about that had gotten their files transferred to CSC didn't have an interview, but if there are indeed people who still had to go through an interview then you're probably right  .

Hello everybody,

I am also a november filer, I sent my package on the 8th of november, and i recieved my NOA on the 23rd. No biometrics letter yet, and when i check my case status it tells me my case is not in their data base yet.
