Ok, so I ventured to the middle of nowhere this afternoon to a DHL location to send the forms regarding packet 3 to Montreal. The address I had was this one: Consulate General of the United States of America, Immigrant Visa Unit, PO box 65, Station Desjardins, Montreal, QC, H5B 1G1.

Now the guy at the DHL location told me that they do not deliver to PO boxes (which makes sense, and I did find it odd that I had a PO box address) and gave me another address....1155 rue St-Alexandré Montréal, Québec H3B 1Z1.

Which is correct? I went ahead and used the second address and just wrote on the waybill ATTENTION: Immigrant Visa Unit and my case #.

Should this be ok?

I'm a little ticked off mind you, as the address that comes with Pk 3 has the PO box address on it. According to the Consulate's web site, the 1155 address is for courier deliveries. So the second address makes sense.

Urghhhhhhhhhhh......lol

I'm having this problem too! I went to the DHL location and couldn't do anything. I went with my documents and the DHL information sheet containing my applicant id. The people didn't know what to do. They also said they need an address which I couldn't give an absolute one.

Since you say that the US Consulate General , 1155 Rue Alexandre, Montreal QC H3B 3Z1 is the correct one, should i just send it myself and pay? Did you say once you gave them teh address they found the account?

This is so frustrating as I my whole file was transferred from VAN to MTL. my ds 160 was already completed in AUG2010 and now montreal wants me to do everything again!! anyway just venting...but what should i do with DHL?

ok This may be confusing but what i posted in this tread last November, 2010 is that I sent it to their physical address: US Consulate General , 1155 Rue Alexandre, Montreal QC H3B 3Z1

I still have to send additional documents this last Jan 20, 2011.

I logged in to the site:

http://www.usvisa-info.com/en/selfservice/

If you have not registered yet and choose your DHL location, you have do it first.

Get the reference Number on the page

Then go to your designated DHL shipping and give that number and it's FREE!

The DHL address for US Embassy in Montreal has changed to : 315 Place d'Youville

Suite 500

Montréal, Québec

H2Y 0A4

DHL people in Mississauga Ontario received a memo that from then on your mails should go to this address.

makes sense if they are screening them first before it arrives to the actual embassy bldg.

hope this helps.

Hi I am in the middle of completing my Pkt3 forms and nowhere does it say:

315 Place d'youville

Suite 500, Montreal

This pkt 3 process is not user-friendly at all, my confirmation for the DS-160 processed on line, shows Location selected as:

U.S. Consulate General

1155 Saint-Alexandre Street

Montreal, H3B- 3Z1

Would be great to get clearer instructions re: this DHL courier service, i read on here that someone went to the designated office and it wasn't a real office..yikes, another story where the DHL personal at another location had no idea how to handle the processing of package..another yikes  . I too need to go to a designated DHL (Markham location) and not so easy to get to via public transit, it would be so disheartening to attempt to get there for nothing. ANY ADVICE PLEASE?????
