Can someone please check my cover letter. I am ready to mail my package this week. I just want to be assured that I included all documents that are required. Thanks

If beneficiary is working, add letter from company and recent paystubs to I-765.

Also, this may sound reduntant but I would establish your eligibility with each of the 4 submission forms, by adding I-94 card, marriage license and main page of passport as well as petitioner main passport page.

I did this simply because I was not sure if the same person handles the entire package and also this way they don't have to flip back and forth between the pages.

My timeline:

1997 -------- first time to USA - B2 ("California Dreamin")

1998 -------- Student - F2

2001 -------- Internship - OPT ("Howdy")

2002 -------- First job in USA - H1-B

2008 -------- change to E-2 visa via company

2010/Aug ---- Marriage to USC

2010/Sep ---- honeymoon Costa Rica

2010/Oct ---- Assembly of package (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)

2010/Oct/27 - DAY 01 - package arrived in Chicago ($58 FedEx Overnight charge)

2010/Nov/1 -- DAY 6 - NOA via Text and Email + checks cashed by USCIS

2010/Nov/5 -- Day 10 - NOA hard copies arrived

2010/Nov/6 -- DAY 11 - Biometrics appointment notice arrived

2010/Nov/23 - DAY 28 - Biometrics Appointment in Fort Worth, TX

2011/Jan/3 -- DAY 69 - YESSS - Interview Notice received in mail - Interview set for Feb 4, 2011

2011/Jan/8 -- DAY 74 - AP arrived in mail. 2 copies.

2011/Jan/13-- DAY 79 - EAD card in mail.

2011/Feb/4 -- DAY 101 - Interview Day - office closed due to snow/ice in Texas.

2011/Mar/10 -- DAY 135 - rescheduled Interview Day. No official approval communicated, but told that card will arrive in 2-3 weeks.

2011/Mar/29 -- DAY 154 - Scheduled Infopass appointment for Friday 4/1

2011/April/1 - DAY 157 - Infopass App in Irving, TX - was told that a decision has not yet been made about my case

2011/April/14 - DAY 170 - 30 days since my interview: Called USCIS - was told wait a 30 more days.

2011/April/25 - DAY 181 - Green Card arrived.

Hi Ania!

This is USA not Poland :)

No cover letter is necessary at all. Most important:are: the form, the check, the attachments.

As long as the form is properly filled out and signed, and the check is for proper amount plus basic copies of few documents you are good.

Nobody bothers to read any extras, unless these extras are explanations to some questions.

Also the fees went up for AOS as of November 23rd. May 2002 He stopped attending school because he couldn't afford it any longer.

03?/2002 USC sibling I-130 petition

02/2009 Met hubby

08/2009 Sibling petition approved but ineligible to adjust status due to overstay

07/10 Married :)

11/22/10 [day 0]- mailed AOS packet!! should be there by noon 11/23/2010

12/3/10 [day 11]- received email/text notification of acceptance from USCIS

12/3/10 hubby surprised me with a trip to Los Angeles for my birthday...no problems :)

12/6/10 [day 14]- received hard copy NOA1 in mail

12/7/10 [day 15]- checks cashed...ouch

12/15/10 [day 23]- rec'd biometrics appt set for Dec. 28th at 10 am! :)

12/28/10 [day 36]- successful biometrics appt

01/27/11 [day 66]- rec'd interview appt set for March 10th at 10 am :)

02/25/11 [day 95]- rec'd EAD

03/10/11 [day 109]- Interview, Green card approved!! :)

Next Step: Removing conditions in 2 years.
