Thank you!! It is funny you mention the police clearance because she actually got that while we were there so that is taken care of. Do you know if she needs to get one from UAE as well? What stage are you in now? Did you go through California? So happy to find someone with my exact circumstance!!

I just got my NOA1 in the mail today!:dance::dance: A small step, but still, I am excited.

Hopefully her NBI report won't expire by the time your fiance reaches her interview. But if it does, she can mail it back to someone in PI and getting a fresh one will be easier.

Yes she will also need to get one from UAE, but she will be instructed how and where to apply for one.

I filed in Nebraska, since I am in Washington State but they now transfer K-1's to California for processing.

Congrats on getting through the first step!! I certainly wish you and your fiancee all the best and may you be together soon. I am hoping to have mine sent off by the end of this week. Am waiting for the docs from my Fiancee that are being sent today. I know it is going to go a long haul and its already driving us both crazy but we know it will be worth it in the long run. Thanks again and keep me posted on how things are going for the two of you. :)

Yep, in the end she will be here and that is what matters! I am sure I will see you around on here, hopefully you will be ready to send off the packet once you get her documents in the mail.

Just be sure to double and triple check everything before you send it in, and make good use of the guides on this site, and the people here who are very helpful. You won't need an attorney, just a healthy dose of patience.

Matt,

In every place where you reference the I-129F, you say "I-129". Just wanted to point this out to you, because they are different forms. You must use the I-129F.

Best of luck,

Thank you for catching that for me. I actually do have the I-129F. I guess I just did not include the F when referring to it. Great looking out!! Much appreciated.

Matt, since you are going through the California Service Center you will be needing the F!:lol::lol:

Hopefully not, good luck on your petition! I know I remain hopeful, not just for myself, but for all of those people who filed in March and April still waiting for NOA2!

Well if I had looked a little closer you state where you are and what stage you are in(although I dont know all of these abbreviations yet).

Hi! Yes, she will need her UAE police clearance, it's called the Good Conduct Certificate there. That will be valid for three months only so she can get it once she knows her interview date already. Where is she living in UAE? If she's in Dubai, she just needs to go to the Dubai Police Headquarters.

good luck on your journey! :)
