I am having my bio appointment in the last week of this month. The thing is that I am having appointment for bio in the service center which is around 80 miles from where I live. I found out that there is one service center more closer from where I live around 20 miles distance..

Is it all right if I go to the ASC which is closer to my place or they will not let me have my bio there.

Has any one gone through this similar situation. your comments are highly appreciated.

thanks

From what I heard - you can go to any service center. I am surprised that they scheduled you for a center that is 80 miles away where they could've at a center 20 miles away.

If I were you, I would go there (20 miles isn't too far) and see what happens...

You can do a walk-in biometrics. Just go in early and if they don't have many people, they should be able to accommodate you.

go to the closest office before your appointment date and ask them first hand. otherwise I would recommend writing letter asking to reschedule the appointment at a closer service center, if you are not in a hurry.. It may throw you 1 month back.
