I live in the USA, I do not have to "hope" for anything, I can just do it. So can you. I get excited about that.

In the last few weeks Alla and I have made changes in our own lives and that of our family that will increase our income by nearly double for the forseeable future. Government permission not needed. As Obama falters and stumbles, the Democrats blow their brains out in front of everybody and the liberals all wring their hands over the future...we secured the future for our family while they were busy with nonsense.

And lest you think that we consider "income" the ony source of happiness, we don't. But we are very happy that we have secured the method of payment for our son's educations, our home, our lives in general.

the Dems and government are not "my team". I wish for the government to leave my team alone. My team is doing just fine.

I would like to thank Obama in advance for his destruction of the hard won power of the Democrat party with the largest turnover of government power by an election in the history of the world!

Whether they gain 55 or 78 seats - or anything in between - it'll be interesting to watch them choke on their campaign rhetoric once it's time to turn all these hollow phrases into actual governing and legislation. Popcorn will be on sale this week and I will certainly stock up on it.

TR loved Winchester rifles and had remarkably good taste and ideas regarding firearms, he even demanded his 1st Volunteer Regiment be issued Krag rifle and not Trapdoor Springfields like other volunteer units. He himself carried a Winchester M1895 in the (then) standard .30 US Army cartridge (.30-40 Krag) up San Juan hill and a honest-to-gosh .45 Colt.

No. I lived through Carter and he is for sure the worst in at least my lifetime. We had a misery index that became the standard of how horrible it was to be alive during his tenure. He survived one term thank God.

Same here, agree 110%. Carter was the worst thing to ever happen to this country. But it took a Carter to give us a Reagan. Heres hoping that history repeats itself.

You might as well live anywhere because the freedom you value can be practiced in any country if one has enough money. Hell you can even enjoy that in a totalitarian state.

Once again, you seem very excited about this for someone who has no interest in politics, because whether an Obama or a Hitler is in power, your future is assured.
