?? Um...we just printed it up and put it in an envelope...

So I have to certify it? Do I HAVE to ?? The thing is, our old address is my parents house...so I know I'll get stuff if it goes there.

Don't know what to do - should I send it AGAIN but certified?

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

I just sent mine regular post Karo. I've never gotten any receipt or notification, but since your old address is your parents...I wouldn't worry about sending it again.

We also sent in the form I-864a (I think that's the number) for Rob, as he also had to notify his address changing, since he is my sponsor. He got an official form back and was all thrilled to see his name on the Dept. of Homeland Security paper for a change!

the form number for sponsor address change is I-865.

The AR-11 Does Not get any form of NOA receipt, it Does Not even change your address on any ongoing applications. You Must send in the I-865 to any USCIS office that may still have any of your petitions or applications in process. Most likely for a K1 AOS this would only be your district office, but check the instructions on the form.

Also include a copy of the AR-11 with the I-865 for district office.

Well today i've mailed in the I 865. SO that's done :)

Getting an immigration form with my name on it WILL be exciting indeed.

I don't know ANYTHING about district offices or AOS since we didn't have to do that...but I'll read up :)

My next prject today is mailing in my passport to have my name changed :)

Project #2, getting my FF miles account changed to my new name. Better late than never :)

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!
