Hi,

I've been on VJ for about a week now and I noticed there are hardly any discussions for Spouses of LPRs so if there is anyone who would like to participate in one Lets Goooooo!!!!

Count me in! my hubby just filed me petition F2A last july. my PD is July 22nd, 2011.

So sad to hear Vermont is still taking forever to approve F2A petitions... We received our email NOA1 yesterday, and our petition has also been sent to Vermont. Our priority date won't be current any time soon, but I'd like to have our case completed before my husband can get his US citizenship (in about a year and a half).

my PD is July 22nd 2011, so, its about 3weeks since our PD, but my case number has not touched yet to the USCIS website. every time i check my current case status in USCIS website, its says " Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283"

Oooh GOD!. even in level of acceptance still not yet touched. my hubby already call the service center and they gave us reference number, told us to wait 14days. and we did.. but still no current case status in website! whats going on...?? is there anyone has same problem checking your case number in USCIS Website?

Hi there! I once had a problem with that USCIS website. We received our NOA2 (notice of approval) but on that site it was still INITIAL REVIEW. So what i did is, I emailed them using this address USCIS-CaseStatus@dhs.gov then in a few days, I received a reply stating they have fixed the concern. Try to email them here. Hope it works! Best of luck!

It makes no sense to me either, I'm just gonna stop watchin those online processing times because all these various immigration agencies are just taking us for a ride. Whatever happens, happens!

Service Request didn't help either, see VSC's reponse below:

The status of this service request is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) acknowledges the fact that your case is still pending processing and is currently beyond our normal processing times as reported on the website. Unfortunately, there are no Visas available for your relative's preference category at this time. Our office processes these cases as our resources and priorities allow. We closely monitor visa availability to ensure no undue delay occurs.

Next month will be a year, talk about 5 month processing

I know! right! the info about processing times are very misleading, because what they are basically saying is that procesing these cases are not priority because visas are unavailable and that's understandable, but why post a processing time of 5 months when you really aren't? ridiculous! I'm not letting this thing stress me, if by next summer its not sorted out hubby has to come home because I am so tired of travelling back and forth and being apart
