N-400 November 2010 Filers

Hi all,

My wife's interview is at 9:20AM 12 April and now we are nervous as hell. I will try to list the questions that come from her interview.

right now we are actually praying and studying every minutes until the interview time.

She will do fine.Like you said, God is in control through prayers, and make sure she stays focus.What she really needs during the interview.

We can only do what we can during these interviews, and let the Spirit of God lead us. My wife is taking her interview on April 07 at 0750 am as well .We will pray for you guys to make sure that the IO helps her to calm down so that she can focus.She will be fine, and study as much as you can, we are all differnt in this matter of studying for tests,interviews,......Good luck guys!

My husband received form N-445 in the mail today stating that he will have his oath ceremoney in TWO days. We're relieved because I didn't want to wait too long for him to be sworn in since we're moving out of the country soon and he still needs to apply for his passport, but I'm surprised that he was only given a two-day notice.

Is that normal?

Updating due to oath ceremony on Friday....

It was dated March 28th so luckily it got here within 2 days, giving us less than 48 hours. A friend of mine in ATL said that when she got her notification (4 years ago) it was also last minute so she had to change it. Luckily for us, despite the short notice, it's perfect. Neither of us has to work and I hate the waiting....

Agree with Bora. The waiting in all these immigration filings is the most painful part. for me It has been like 129,AOS, and now N-400.

Finally it should be over by 12 April in my wife case.

It is annoying if nothing else. And then to know that you've passed the English language/history part but still not be a citizen because you haven't been sworn in. That's like you're so close you can taste it but you're only allowed to smell.

So, question for those you've gone to the ceremony, the letter says to take other immigration papers (besides the green card, of course). Like what? We don't have children.

marriage certificate, usc passport, usc naturalization certificate.

My husband is now an American citizen!!!

His ceremony was scheduled at 8 a.m., but by the time everyone was in and processed, we probably began closer to 8:30 a.m. The ceremony was simple and straightforward; it took about an hour.

There were 94 people rom 29 countries. His certificate is so nice and I'm so happy! He even registered to vote
