Received email saying they received my application.

Check was cashed on Nov 8th.

Email also says "Your USCIS application/petition has been received and routed to the National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number NBC*001######"

Does every one get a # by email? Have any of you been transferred to the National benefits Center.

My wife's number is an NBC number but can't speak for everyone else. I know when we check online I need to enter NBC* then the number to see the status. We just got our biometrics letter on 11/8 and our scheduled time is 11/19 at 12pm. We are going tomorrow and try to do it early. Fingers crossed!

~Walk in for biometrics in Atlanta, GA today. There were a TON of people in line and I almost turned around but figured we are here so why not try. Stood in line for 20 minutes and just handed him our biometrics appointment letter. We did not mention we were doing it early but I'm sure he noticed. He moved us to another line and finished all the others in line. Then let my wife in and the whole process took about 90 minutes but it is done. If you are going for naturalization you MUST have your Green Card. Some people did not and were told to come back. Also make sure you know your S.S.N. since it is a line item on a form to be filled out.

Just spoke to USCIS and it turns out my RFE is in fact my biometrics appointment. I should hopefully have the letter at the end of the week, It was mailed out yesterday.
