Still no interview letter here yet either :(

Online still shows last touch was on 11/16/2010 and I completed biometrics on 11/22/2010. Got yellow letter 01/10/2011.

11-06-2010 Mail tracking status shows as received (Counts as day 1)

11-09-2010 Citizenship fee check cashed

11-11-2010 Notice of receipt received from USCIS in postal mail and it was dated 11-09-2010

11-16-2010 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice. Appointment date scheduled on notice 12-13-2010

11-22-2010 Did walk-in Biometrics in Orlando instead of waiting for 12-13-2010

12-31-2010 Checked case status online and still saying Request for Evidence and last update date was 11-16-2010 (usual Biometrics notice)

01-10-2011 Received Yellow letter in mail describing what docs to bring to interview. (letter dated 01-04-2011 but online status not updated, still showing 11-16-2010 as above)

01-18-2011 Decided to call USCIS today and ask about my interview date and they opened up a case to my local office asking for a reply to be sent to me.

02-03-2011 Got an alert today which says I am now at testing and interview stage. Waiting on actual interview letter now.

02-04-2011 Shows another touch on the online status today

02-07-2011 Received Interview Letter in the mail today. Letter was dated 02-04-2011

03-15-2011 Passed my interview with ease.

03-18-2011 Oath date.

Still no yellow letter or an interview date. Status online still reflects biometrics notice sent on 11/2 (well, RFE sent on 11/2). My wife completed her biometrics on 11/10 in Atlanta. Not enjoying the wait time but nothing to do but wait. It will happen. I was expecting (hoping) for a Jan interview date but now best case is probably March or maybe April. ~heavy sigh.

Try calling them...I know they will give you the same old story of 5 months and cases being different...but just try calling once...

Just be sincere, polite and say you understand but were calling coz you are concerned, wish them a great day and hang up after they tell you that #######...dont question them.

They know we are at their mercy so let them stay on that power trip a bit longer.

I think just the fact that they pull up your case on their computer will trigger some change/movement in a few days...

It happened to me twice in this long process 751 and n400..so you have nothing to lose...

He assured me everything was AOK but it would take a little longer. I expected Atlanta to take a little longer but got a little concerned when someone on here had their fingerprints taken a full month after my wife and they already have an interview date. That's why I called.

ok..So I guess you just have to wait...I hate waiting but what else can you do... Im sure it will show up in the next 2 weeks now that Nov is filling up...Hang in there...You have come this far.

Maybe you shouldnt log in here or check status...it can be frustrating seeing movement in cases after yours and you are still stuck...

Things will happen when you are not anxious and preoccupied with this...

Got a call from the IO yesterday afternoon regarding our 319(b) filing for naturalization, he said to come back in today, bring all paperwork again - he also said, "and congratulations!"

Instructions for adding/updating yourself (or assisting others) to this list:

I just hope I can finish oath/passport etc by April latest.

I need to see my old parents...havent seen them in a long time and this morning I found out over a call that my mom is not feeling too well, has a lot of medical tests to be done etc etc and I would love to go and spend some time with them after all this N400 drama is over.

Im sure many of us here are waiting to finish with this to visit families....Good Luck to us all.good.gif

Hey kgurl I just noticed you're right across from me in Tampa. I'm waiting for Orlando office.

You received your yellow letter just before me.

I got mine on 01-10-2011 and it was dated 01-04-2011.

Seems like Florida is slow for some reason. Hopefully we will both get white interview letters really soon.

When I check my case status online is still shows my RFE for fingerprints as the last touch date since 11-16-2010 even though I completed my fingerprints on 11-22-2010.

Just curious....what does it show as your last touch date in the status and does yours still say RFE as well or does it say awaiting interview?

Did you get any alert for sent to local office yet or anything? I got nothing at all since the yellow letter. No alerts, no online updates, no emails...

I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything or notice any date changes online.

I'm trying to get hold of BoraBora from Orlando on this November list as well but no response. I don't know if she got any interview date yet or not. She was the original starter of this thread and seems like she disappeared for the past 3 weeks. Her last login was on Jan 9th or 10th.

Yeah, making an appointment now for a walk-in at the passport center today. I know we're not at exactly 14 days yet, but we need to mail our passports off for visas too, so I hope they'll let it slide a few days early.

Just got back from Salt Lake City, I took everything they asked for and all they actually asked to see was my green card lol. I got the first 6 questions correct so stopped there, written and oral test passed with flying colors (I am English after all lol). I can't remember all the questions but there was the following:

1. Why did the colonists fight the British?

2. What group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves?

3. Who is the current Vice President?

4. How many amendments does the constitution have?

5. Who makes federal laws?

Sorry cannot remember the 6th.

I had to write "Citizens can vote" and I had to read a line but again I cannot remember what that was. He then went through my paperwork and then had me print my name on a coupple of papers (I had to print even though it asked for a signiture), whereby I was given notice that I had been recommended and that I should be recieving my oath letter within the next 3-6 weeks !
