Congrats to all the new interviewees who just passed and good luck to all those who are pending their interview.

Still no change in mine since I got the yellow letter with the items needed for the interview. Still waiting on the actual interview letter.

Strangely my online account status still shows last touch of 11-16-2010 for Request for Evidence for Fingerprints even though I already got the yellow letter.

I did my fingerprints since 11-22-2010 as a walk in in Orlando support center. Shouldn't the updated status say "sent to local office" if I already got my yellow letter?

Should I give them a call or schedule an infopass visit to see what's up ?

Sadly you cannot follow what the online status says. They don't always update them on a timely basis. You can call or make an infopass appointment. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm in Atlanta, GA and I expect to be one of the LAST to get the interview notice. Nothing moves fast in Atlanta and if the USCIS says it is taking 5 months it WILL take at least 5 months. We are in no hurry and figure it will happen when it happens. My wife did her biometrics on 11/10 and nothing has changed online, no yellow letter, zilch, notta and nothing. When we filed for K-1, AOS and ROC I learned there is nothing to do but wait or make yourself CRAZY.

Congrats to all who have passed the interview or have one scheduled. We are VERY excited to hear your good news.

Hey,

My time line is very similar to your.

I did my Biometrics on Nov 30th...

Online Status says as os of 11/16 a request for evidence was sent it.

I also got the yellow letter...and I am waiting.

I wish they would atleast remove that online status which says 11/16 - Req for Evidence..it makes me nervous.

I am trying to hold off for 1 month from date of yellow letter, then I will call them.....

Hmmm, aren't you also in the October list with me? What now that October is almost done, except for you and I, you are deserting??? Only kidding, I have been watching to see if you get your interview as our filing dayes are close. Good luck and I hope that your interview comes soon.

Well, my interview was yesterday in Cleveland. I ended up arriving freakishly early, so I chilled out at a deli for a bit. Went to the federal building STILL earlier than I should have, but I figured I might as well stay warm in there and watch the news on their tv :whistle:

Interview itself took maybe 15 minutes. I was asked for my green card, passport, '09 tax return. Funny part was, the officer was the same guy who interviewed us for the greencard.. I guess he figured he'd seen pretty much everything else before (apparently, my file was riddled with his notes, based on how much red ink I saw on those pages). He did ask where the hubby was, and I said the hubby was at work. I didn't see the point of using up vacation time just so he can wait in the waiting room.. I opted for name change (he had an issue with my names, and was all "Well good thing you want a name change, because..")

In any case, at the end, he handed me a sheet of paper saying both tests were passed, approval is recommended, yada yada. Should get oath taking letter in maybe a month. It wasn't bad at all.

And this time, when I left the building, there were no men lying prone on the ground with cop cars screeching to a halt in front of the building with sirens blazing :lol: I could do without that kind of excitement during USCIS related trips..

Didn't do anything, just double and triple checked my stepdaughters application, the required evidence and even sent it in first class mail. Maybe lucky this time, USCIS misplaced my stepdaughters conditional green card application, our I-751, and my wifes' oath letter. Believe me, I know the frustration you are going through. Feingold was a big help to us, but wasn't reelected. My idiot Wisconsinites voted for Ron Johnson instead, a multimillionaire that got that way by making plastic bags with a small plant of only 140 people he is obviously working to death. Met hundreds like this in my corporate days, and expecting no help and being robbed from him as well. So depending on pure luck the USCIS doesn't screw up this time. She missed tailgating her mom by just a couple of months caused by major USCIS delays. I have found no way to personally deal with the USCIS, need help from up above.

I got my yellow letter today, asking to bring my driver license for the enterview. now I have to wait for the enterview letter!!!! hope this would be soon!!! :bonk:

I was thinking in name change also, but I did some research online and looks like takes about 6 more month to get the oath ceremony. good luck to you.!!!!
