Looks like the first October Vermont filer got approved today. Based on the October thread, I would have guessed we'd start seeing the first few November approvals start to trickle in about now, but for most of us, it's still going to be another month to two months. Not sure why California is so much faster this time. They moved at about the pace of the continental drift when we were waiting for I-129F and AOS approval, with Vermond quite a bit faster.

it's been about 3 years since i posted...hello everyone!

we filed ROC in November and got the package returned 2 times. Once because the signature on the application was xerox (but they DO say to send copies only, confusing!), and secong time because we sent 545$ (couldn't they see that at the first return?)...anyway....my husband received a letter that extends his status for 1 year....he had biometrics appt on January 03, 2011, his GC expires tomorrow...

just today he went to DMV to renew driver license, and got the extension until March....we hoped to have some response from USCIS until now.

what are processing times now? i saw on their website that it's 6 months in california. that is soooo long....

also, did anyone got GC without the interview?

Just got an email saying "On January 31, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Woohoo...and today is my birthday ..cannot top this.

Just got an email saying "On January 31, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Woohoo...and today is my birthday ..cannot top this.

Sit tight and yours will start coming in... Good Luck to those of you who are waiting and Congrats to the ones who have already gotten it.

I applied my 751 on Nov 19th, and I haven't got any mail from USCIS. I made an info pass and they stamped on my passport ( Extension for a year). However, I took for almost 3 months already, and I still haven't got my biometric apt. Anyone has the same situation? Mine was sent to VSC .....What am i supposed to do right now???/ Give me some advice please!!!

I applied my 751 on Nov 19th, and I haven't got any mail from USCIS. I made an info pass and they stamped on my passport ( Extension for a year). However, I took for almost 3 months already, and I still haven't got my biometric apt. Anyone has the same situation? Mine was sent to VSC .....What am i supposed to do right now???/ Give me some advice please!!!

After waiting for six weeks and haven't got any mail from USCIS, I called them (1-800-375-5283) and my biometric appointment arrived in two weeks. I don't know if it was coincidence or my call gave them a poke. But it doesn't hurt to try. Or maybe your local office is just swamp with applicants and they haven't gotten to your case for bio appointment.
