09/15/08 - mailed AOS, I-130, AP and EAD thru USPS

09/16/08 - Received and signed

9/22/08 - Cheques are cashed

9/23/08 - Received NOA for I-130, I-131. I-485, I-765 and Appointment for Biometrics for 15th

9/23/08 - Can see statuses online though USCIS website

10/02/08 - CRIS touch for AP and EAD

10/15/23 - Biometrics Appointment completed!!!

11/26/08 – CRIS TOUCH – "Card Production for EAD Ordered" message in email

12/1/08 – CRIS TOUCH - "AP Approved" message in email

12/2/08 – CRIS TOUCH – Again “Card Production for EAD” through email

12/5/08 – CRIS TOUCH – “EAD Approval Notice Sent” through mail

12/5/08 - Got AP document today in USPS mail...Now I can go back to India to see my parents for Christmas!!!!

12/6/08 - Got EAD Card in the mail!!!!!!!!!!!

1/3/09 - Interview letter received in mail. Interview on February 10th 2009

2/2/09 - Found a Job!!!!

2/10/09 - Had interview and they took my EAD card and AP. I'm approved....!!!!

2/11/09 - Got Green Card in mail.

No touch on I-130 since 10/08/2008

NO touch on AOS since 10/16/2008

Green Card expiry for 2/12/11

11/1/10 - Filed AR-11 online and I-865

11/19/10 - Filed I-751 to California center with 545 check$

11/24/10 - Cheque has been cashed

11/29/10 - Got NOA FOR I-751

02/16/11 - Green card Approved though mail

03/02/11 - Green Card received in mail

01.28.09- interview for AOS

02.05.09- AOS approval letter and welcome note! yey!

02.12.09- GC recieved! :D (wrong middle name spelling)

02.15.09- moving out of in-laws' house.

confused if i have to change address first or have GC corrections

we still haven't received a bio appointment either. *sigh* if nothing by monday, 3 january, i will give the mis information line a jingle. haven't made a phone call about immigration issues since i called the nvc to find out tracking information on my husband's petition heading to bangkok.

My NOA date was 11/1 but haven't received bio appointment after six weeks. So I called USCIS on 12/15 after reading some posts in this Forum and was told to wait another 30 days. But luckily I received the bio appointment today with the letter dated 12/20. So I don't know if the call initiated some actions or it just happened that they were processing the case when I called.

Also, at the bottom of the NOA letter, it said to use the application number found at the top of the ASC appointment notice to check my status online. But the USCIS website asks for receipt number, not application number. I used that anyway and it said that my case cannot be found. :wacko:

Got the biometrics done this morning at 8am in Philadelphia. It was a madhouse because our area got 1-2 feet of snow over the weekend and the service center was closed yesterday. They were honoring all of yesterdays appointments at the same time today. Luckily the whole experience didnt take any longet than 30 minutes but it was packed.

I have a question. I went online to check our case status this afternoon and it says: On November 18, 2010, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.

What is a CRI89? Is that another term for I-751. It says I-751 on my NOAs. Thanks!

Okay I looked it up on the USCIS website so I figured I'd post the info in case anyone else sees the same thing.

USCIS announced last month that it is revising filing instructions for Form I-751 to require filing at the California or Vermont Service Centers. Until the form instructions are revised, any petitions filed with the Nebraska and Texas Service Centers will be transferred to California and Vermont, respectively. When USCIS enters data at one service center and later transfers the case to another, a Transfer Notice is sent to the petitioner advising him or her that the case has been transferred for adjudication and that they will be notified of the final decision.

The current transfer notice currently contains the following phrase: “CRI89 approved removal of conditions (I89).” That statement means that the biometric portion of the case has been successfully transferred; it does not, however, mean that the petition itself was approved.

While USCIS is in the process of changing the language in the transfer notice, a substantial number of notices have already been mailed containing the potentially confusing statement. Any petitioner who may have received such a notice should be aware of the following:

At the time the I-751 was transferred, USCIS had not yet adjudicated (approved or denied) the case;

USCIS transferred the case to the Service Center listed on the notice for adjudication; and

If the petitioner has not received additional information from the California or Vermont Service Centers, USCIS has not yet adjudicated the case.

Petitioners who have a specific question related to their I-751 petition should contact the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 for more information.

10/09/08- Package arrives in Chicago.

10/16/08- Money Orders Cashed. $930, $80, $355

10/20/08- NOA Received for I-130, I-485, I-765

10/27/08- (I-130) -- TOUCHED

10/28/08- Received Biometric Appointment for 11/07/08

11/07/08- Completed Biometrics. 30mins in and out.

11/07/08- Both I-485 and I-765 touched. Looks like it was touched/updated due to biometrics.

11/24/08- Requested I-765 Expedite.

11/28/08- Received Interview date for 01/28/09 @12:30pm/ garden city, ny.

12/08/08- I-765 updated on USCIS. Ordered production of your new card. Think expedite worked.

12/18/08- EAD CARD RECEIVED (expires 12/12/09)

12/30/08- Applied for SS with EAD, Birth Certificate, Marriage License, Passport no i-94 or valid visa was needed.

1/28/09- Conditional Green card approved. Passport stamp I-551.

11/8/10- (I-751) Removal of conditions received in Vermont. $545.00 Sent

11/17/10- Received I-751 Receipt dated 11/9/10.

12/29/10- Recieved NOA for biometrics on 1/18/2011 , 1PM. Woodside, NY location.
