It says that you must wait till you receive your biometrics letter.....It does not mention that you will received your biometrics letter within x number of days.

Hey guys!

I cannot locate my NOA1 in the house, I know, wise. Can someone tell me what does it say about biometrics letter there? I mean, does it say something like "You will receive biometrics letter" or "You will receive biometrics letter within XX number of days and such". Thank you.

Need the date you'll go for biometrics, not the date on the letter.

I had my AOS biometrics in New Orleans, I didn't do creole but went to Cafe du Monde and had the best coffee + beignets in the whole wide world!

We did that, too! (It was a bit of a drive out there for us, so we had to make a day out of it...)

updating our dates

We had our biometrics a day after our appointment and had no problem just walkin in, we did call before to make sure this was OK

however, I received a letter saying that the FBI could not process my finger prints and that I have to go again on 12/30

The manager at the ASC give us the following tips: I-751 are being approved without interview if enough evidence was submitted with application, he said that if we did we most likely receive card in mail very soon.

He also told us that we should return current residency cards once we receive the new ones in the mail, that we should go to the field office and return them at anytime or the day of the interview. He said that if these cards get lost or stolen and somebody else uses the information on them, we may have problems later.

I129F received by CSV: 10/19/07

NOA1 received early March and NOA2 received on March 19th!! We got APPROVED!!

File received by NVC and sent to US Embassy in Paris: 03/10/2008

05/06/2008: I sent the packet 3 to the embassy.

05/22/2008: Packet 4 received!

06/10/2008: Medical examination in Paris.

06/17/2008: INTERVIEW: Visa approved!!

08/31/2008: WEDDING

AOS journey:

09/05/2008: AOS/EAD/AP sent to Chicago

09/11/2008: Notice date for I-485, I-131 and I-765

10/16/2008: SSA finally gave me a SSN!!

11/17/2008: AP received and EAD approved!

11/20/2008: Biometrics appointment AND Green card interview in Fairbanks.

12/29/2008: I went to my local office to regive my biometrics. And my EAD card has finally been issued!!

2/3/11: Biometrics at local office (NOA2 recieved on 2/2/11!!!)

Still no biometrics letter... I certainly hope it doesn't come when we are out of town for Christmas....

I was fearing this would happen when I called to correct the typo - it must have created a delay...

Same here: no biometrics letter yet... I guess all we can do is wait :blink:

There is a word out that ones from DC metro are screwd for quite some time because of the delay at the biometrics place. Who else is from DC?

02/14/2008 Valentine`s Day Wedding!

04/09/2008 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

05/03/2008 call to USCIS because NOA1 not received ;( Got the receipt number and was told that we cannot get replacement NOA1.

08/21/2008 request for NOA1 for I-130 to file AOS placed over the phone and forwarded to VSC. Thanks to the first great Rep at USCIS hotline

10/17/2008 Hubby`s B-day, NOA1 for I-130 finally arrives!

10/21/2008 AOS sent to Chicago lockbox

10/31/2008 NOAs for AOS received

11/06/2008 I-130 is transferred to CSC

11/20/2008 biometrics done

12/02/2008 I-130 APPROVED!!!

01/02/2009 EAD received

02/12/2009 Interview APPROVED!!!

02/17/2009 welcome letter received

Does this affect Baltimore?

Also, has anyone here attempted to do early (walk-in) biometrics at the Baltimore ASC?
