Hi everyone,

I filled on 11/18 and got the receipt notice (I believe NOA1??) today, 11/30. My conditional resident status is extended for one year!

Good luck to everybody.

K1 journey:

I129F sent mid-october 2007

I129F received by CSV: 10/19/07

NOA1 received early March and NOA2 received on March 19th!! We got APPROVED!!

File received by NVC and sent to US Embassy in Paris: 03/10/2008

05/06/2008: I sent the packet 3 to the embassy.

05/22/2008: Packet 4 received!

06/10/2008: Medical examination in Paris.

06/17/2008: INTERVIEW: Visa approved!!

08/31/2008: WEDDING

AOS journey:

09/05/2008: AOS/EAD/AP sent to Chicago

09/11/2008: Notice date for I-485, I-131 and I-765

10/16/2008: SSA finally gave me a SSN!!

11/17/2008: AP received and EAD approved!

11/20/2008: Biometrics appointment AND Green card interview in Fairbanks.

12/29/2008: I went to my local office to regive my biometrics. And my EAD card has finally been issued!!

01/12/2009: EAD received!! Finally

02/09/2009: GC received in the mail :) Anniversary is 01/29/11

Removal of conditions:

11/09/10: Divorced

11/18/10: Sent I-751 to CSV

11/30/10: Receipt notice received in the mail

12/30/10: Called USCIS as no news for 1 month after NOA1

1/10/11: Emailed from USCIS about my call: "The process for fingerprint appointment scheduling has been requested."

1/13/11: NOA2 ASC appointment notice

2/3/11: Biometrics at local office (NOA2 recieved on 2/2/11!!!)

2/16/11: Date of decision: APPROVED

2/24/11: Card in hand

Hi everyone we are going to be November fillers as well! :thumbs: I just have a question though if anyone here knows, its just not very clear to me when can we apply for the citizenship if its going to be 3 years (may 2011) since we've been married. Do we have to wait for the I-751 form to be approved and wait another 3 years or how does it really work?? So confusing. :help:

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the date you guys got married. The three years will start from the date you got approve for the first time. So in your case it will be on the third year anniversary of your residency approval, not your marriage three years anniversary. But you still have to go through removing the conditions first.

11/20/2008: Received RFE.

11/29/2008: Biometric Done.

12/14/2008: Sent response to RFE.

12/18/2008: NOA on RFE.

01/07/2009: Response for I-765: Current Status: Card production ordered.

01/17/2009: Received EAD in the mail

01/26/2009: Interview Notice.03/16/2009... It's a Date!!!

We got our bio letter but where do we call to try and change it? Just the normal 800#? They have us set for 12/20 but i want to try and move it up a bit.

I've seen people just do a walk-in biometrics with no problems.

I've seen people just do a walk-in biometrics with no problems.

Well we will just keep the appt. Trying to take off work without knowing for sure if they can get us in isn't worth. Talking to the USCIS was pointless. (they wouldn't even discuss with me since it's for my spouse)Then when I asked her to hold while i got him on the phone she hung up on me. :(

not sure what is worse.. having to deal with them on the phone or knowing in just over a year and a half we will be moving back to the UK lol

Do you guys know how long it will take to receive another NOA for the biometrics appointment? I am taking off for a month next week, and I am afraid to miss my appointment date... I hope that someone will check my mail box to let me know if I receive anything from USCIS. What if they want to see me but I am out of the country?? Can I reschedule?

NOA1 received early March and NOA2 received on March 19th!! We got APPROVED!!

File received by NVC and sent to US Embassy in Paris: 03/10/2008

05/06/2008: I sent the packet 3 to the embassy.

05/22/2008: Packet 4 received!

06/10/2008: Medical examination in Paris.

06/17/2008: INTERVIEW: Visa approved!!

09/05/2008: AOS/EAD/AP sent to Chicago

09/11/2008: Notice date for I-485, I-131 and I-765

10/16/2008: SSA finally gave me a SSN!!

11/17/2008: AP received and EAD approved!

11/20/2008: Biometrics appointment AND Green card interview in Fairbanks.

12/29/2008: I went to my local office to regive my biometrics. And my EAD card has finally been issued!!

01/12/2009: EAD received!! Finally

02/09/2009: GC received in the mail :) Anniversary is 01/29/11

Removal of conditions:

11/09/10: Divorced

11/18/10: Sent I-751 to CSV

11/30/10: Receipt notice received in the mail

12/30/10: Called USCIS as no news for 1 month after NOA1

1/10/11: Emailed from USCIS about my call: "The process for fingerprint appointment scheduling has been requested."

1/13/11: NOA2 ASC appointment notice

2/3/11: Biometrics at local office (NOA2 recieved on 2/2/11!!!)

2/16/11: Date of decision: APPROVED

2/24/11: Card in hand
