Hi,

I'm about to file I-751. I read the instruction on USCIS website and it said that I need to put "none" if the answer is none and "N/A" if the item is not applicable.

The questions I have are:

1.) I do not have a middle name, so do I need to write "(none)"?

2.) My wife is a US citizen. Do I need to just leave it blank or write "N/A" on the question that asking about A#?

3.) We do not have any children yet. Do I just leave it blank for that part of question?

Thank you

I would leave the space for Middle Name blank otherwise you might wind up with records that show your middle name as none. rofl.gif I don't have a middle name and I left the middle name blank on the I-751 we sent in. I am the U.S. citizen so I left the A# blank for myself since in Part 2 a. we checked that the conditional residence was based on marriage to a U.S. citizen. As for children, I would write "None" in the blank for the child's name.

Hi CarlosAndSveta,

Thank you for your response. When my lawyer filled for my AOS 2 years ago, he put "(none)" for my middle name and I remembered he said that USCIS wanted every question to be answered. That's why I kind of confused what to put because some people said to just leave it blank, but other people said to put "none." I want to file I-751 by myself.
