I just recently passed my test for my citezenship and just waiting for my oat.Just wanna gather some info.

About petitioning my father and my sister.I have a couple question maybe you guys can give.

1. I know i can petition my father but is it possible to put my sister name along with my father application, she just turn 18 this year . Or do i need a separate form for my sister too. My friend told me i should bring my sister too since she's under 21 still .

2. My father has coughing or tb we call it but his been going to the dr. and base on them he doesnt have the tb anymore. If incase my father approve on visa but not in medical can he still able to come here but just had to stay a little bit longer until his clear to fly or do my father will have chances of denied visa b'coz of his tb if ever come back positive.

3. Does having a history of bankruptcy will effect my petition to my father or if maybe my sister. or do i need co sponsor i;e mother inlaws

Sorry about this long question ,im trying to search alot but i couldnt find the answer pls. if u give me any advise bad or good i greatly appreciate it so much.

Thank you

cel

You need a separate petition for each. Your fathers will go quickly but your sister will take about 20 to get a visa number through you. Once you father arrives and gets a citizenship after 5 years he could also petition her and that will take less time but it always good for you to start a petition also. Your finances will be looked at each time a petition is ready for interview and that will be a while from now so don't fret a current bankruptcy.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
