Has Bill Mahr stopped rejecting any religion, period? I can't recall him being pro-Islam, pro-Christianity, pro-Judaism, etc. So, nothing in his paradigm has changed.

Yes it is about Bill Maher... but not about "why people care what he thinks".... or if they "like his hairstyle" ...or who he is dating now.

But since the question of why people care what he thinks weighs heavy on your mind, let me take a guess.

Bill is funny enough to have had a number of shows, he is intuitive enough to address many of the current issues of the day and he seems to impress enough people with his take on things to be invited on some pretty serious "round table" type shows.

Your argument splits hairs. To say that my comment was "irrelevant" to the conversation when in fact I mentioned "Maher" in my sentence, is illogical and exclusionary (as opposed to inclusive). It's like you are drowning out the voices that don't fit into your definition of reality.

That said, Maher is a self-promoting nut. Who in their right mind would pay attention to what he says?

Maher is not my hero, I don't even like the guy but he is relevant to the national conversation on issues.
