Passport photos for Mtl interview

I got my passport photos done today for the medical/interview (had to pay for three sets.. argh) and they printed the regular size. When I got home I checked my packet and it says they need to be the 2 x 2 (US) size. Is this going to be an issue?

All the govt. sites I've seen make a big deal telling us the EXACT dimensions of the photos. My guess would be is YES it MIGHT be an issue.

Play it safe, get them re-done. I'd hate to have you delay your visa because of something so easily fixed now

Most place will do the US specs if you tell them you need them - Shopper and Walmart make it easy

what do you mean regular size? I got mine done last week at wal mart and i asked for passport pictures (is this not the same fo the interview)...got me thinking now and worrying...argh and i am just about out of time - i leave monday morning for Montreal

are the sizes for the interview differnt then any otehrs that we have had done for this process?

You are technically suposed to submit American sized photos during all stages of the process (including filling the I-129F). I know I didn't submit US sized pictures for the initial petition and it wasn't a problem. I'm not sure if bringing Canadian ones to the interview would be an issue or not. Can't you just cut them down and make them 2x2? I would try that. I think the Canadian versions have more space on the top and at the bottom you can just cut off.

I had canadian sized ones done and just cut them down to 2 x 2 for my interview with no issues. Just make sure you take the same amount off the opposite sides so that you stay cenetered in the photo.

I would try the suggusted, however worst case they have a photo booth at the montreal consulate

I went back to where I had them taken, and they were able to just cut them to the correct size. Thanks, as always, for suggestions and feedback! Interview in 8 days!!
