Looks like all of you November filers have got your NOA1! we're worried... We sent our I-295F to TX on Nov 03. No email/text message/NOA1 hardcopy is received so far. Got the name of the person who signed our package from the courier and called the 800 number. They said they needed to check. We called back again after some time, But still couldn't get any confirmation so far. The check has not been cashed either. We just don't know what to expect now....we filed the petition ourselves. Would it be the reason? Did all of you file the petitions through lawyers?

I think a lot of people here on VJ file without the use of lawyers. Were you able to put in the correct fee? Early November the fee was still $455. I'm wondering why the check didn't cash. Did you double check your forms -- are they current versions, are they signed? Maybe they returned the packet back to you?

I hope you hear something about your case soon!

Thanks Wayfarer. We actually prepared the packet together and doublechecked it before sending it out. We only found this website afterwards. So we didn't include a cover letter. Other than that Everything was done according to the instruction. It's just so frustrating without knowing what happened...

Happy New Year!!! I am trying to understand the rest of the process and plan out my 2011. So..... we all figure April we should receive our NOA2. How long after the NOA2 do we receive our appointment? Thanks guys!

It's really consulate specific; have you checked the Colombia/regional forums? They might give more updated times in there. I believe you guys have packets 3 and 4 (which you accomplish and mail out), we don't. It's country specific :)

Here's you embassy info, not sure how updated it is but this should give you some info too.

2 months down 3 to go. I go see my lady in 5 weeks :D

Yay!! Will you be there for Valentines? :)

2 months down but so had to book to see my babes Vday weekend ;)

I'll be with my fiance too for Valentine's day, yay! :)

you guys are lucky! you get to spend Valentines with your SOs. :) Oh well 2 months down! We'll celebrate Valentines in late April (hopefully *crosses fingers*) when I get to be with him :)

2011-03-24: NOA2!!! :)

2011-04-08: Case arrived at Embassy ( tracked through DHL)

2011-04-11/12: Medical at St Lukes

2011-04-25: INTERVIEW :) Earliest slot available online is May 6, called to see if there is an earlier date. Got Apr 25 :)

2011-05-11: POE at LAX Airport

2011-06-25: We got married!

2011-08-02: AOS/ AP/ EAD filed

2011-08-09: AOS NOA1

2011-09-06: Biometrics Appointment

2011-10-20: AOS Interview @ Detroit USCIS

Hey all I'm new to this site so just trying to get some information....I filed at the start of november and my receipt date is nov 5th. I only just checked my status for the first time at last weekend as my rubbish lawyer didn't tel us that we could so. My current status is as follows (copied and pasted)

On November 30, 2010, your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of November 30, 2010, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Has anybody else had the same status at any point?? Just trying to figure out what it means as it says "PROCESSED"

It may just be my NOA1 but I guess I'm just trying to stay positive

Any help and info would be greatly received
