Mailed on November 26th. Got our NOA1 notice on the 6th of December. Still waiting for that hardcopy to show up. I am hopeful for a clear NOA2 at the end of April too. That would be a dream.

An April NOA2 is very very possible! :) Clean petitions (no red flags whatsoever) seem to take anywhere from 4-5 months.

Sent on the 30th of November and my fiancee got the reciept in the mail today 11-09 from USCIS (would this qualify as NOA1??)

Wish i had more details, but she fell asleep on the couch i guess...

Yep! The NOA1 date is the notice date or received date on the form. :) I went by notice date, but this old (2006) thread suggests it should be the received date

Anyway it's just a difference of a few days, and I decided to err on the conservative side. :)

Maybe another dumb question but:

On the USCIS website it said NOA1 december 2nd. When i log in it says, last update on december 10th.

Is that a touch?

yes that is a touch now your in a box with a lot of other applicants.
