It has been 5 months and 1 day today and I finally got someone on the phone from USCIS. They told me since my case was still in the "normal processing time" that I can't even get an inquiry sent to VSC for another 60 days! Gosh this is driving me up the wall.... is this the time when I can contact my representative or do I need to wait 60 days to do that too? I hate how my whole life has to be on hold just because my fiance isn't American!!!

I dont know when the best time to contact your representative..I just know we have similar timelines and to be quite honest I am getting a little tired of waiting for simple paperwork to be approved!

You aren't the only one! It's so unfair to keep people who truly love eachother apart!

NVC entered our information yesterday, we are on our way. very nice lady said we should receive email notification when they send the packet to the embassy. she also said probably no more than 2-3 weeks to get it sent.
