BTW.......

Being the true psycho that I am.... I constantly check the oct pg just to see how far along they are. They seem to be going through the same level of frustration us VSC filers are going through. Below if a post I C&P from someone who wrote their senator... So lets def wait till after six months, just my opinion.

Dear fellow October Filers,

I have, after 5.5 month mark, decided to get the whole Senator shenanigans started to see if it would help at all. Though I think there is not much we can do to get it done faster than the VSC capacity, i thought maybe a lucky touch via this request may turn into a NOA2, but no! I got the standard answer.

" Dear Ms. Ak....,

Thank you for contacting me with your questions regarding the I 129F petition that you filed with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

USCIS shows that your petition was received on October 26, 2010, and is pending adjudication. Processing time for this form type is 5 months. Processing times for specific applications and petitions at the Vermont Service Center (VSC) are provided on the www.uscis.gov website and are updated weekly. Based on fluctuations and variables that impact the processing times and for the purpose of interim or final adjudicative processing, the VSC allows 30 days beyond the posted date before the case is considered "Outside of Normal Processing Time" (ONPT).

An additional 30 days must be allowed for adjudicative review and processing before USCIS can request expeditious processing based on an ONPT request. If the application or petition is still pending after 30 days, in this case after April 26, 2011, and you request expedited processing at that time, the case will be forwarded to the applicable adjudicative unit for their review.

Again, thank you for contacting me. For further information or to sign up for my newsletter please visit my website at...... "

So, I guess this means after the 26th, I will have a right to expedite, or is it just a comforting thought they are trying to implant me, to make me feel better and shut up. We'll see...

UGH!!!!!!!

This is sooooooooooooooooooo annoying!!!!. All us VSC folks are a little jelly bean with you california people. I know the winter was bad up north, but.... IDK what is the hold up???? I think we should def wait till our 6 month mark before we make any waves.

:(:blink::bonk::help::crying:

If it's any consolation, there won't be much of a logjam after the NOA2 with NVC and hopefully the rest of the process (depending on the consulate of course). Our case is now on the way to Manila and it's only been a little over a week since petition approval.

it sure picks up speed after NVC. I was able to schedule my interview online today. They have May 6 as the earliest so I booked that. Then I called and asked if there is an earlier date. I was given April25. :)

I know how frustrating waiting is. Don't lose hope, NOA2 should be there in no time! :)

Indeed! Hopefully the P3/P4/Interview process goes quickly for us both! There's been a lot of excellent informational threads in the Canada regional forum lately, too!

Congratulations to those approved!

If you want to check at any time to see if they have sent the case to the Consulate yet, you can call the NVC at 1-603-334-0700. You will need your USCIS receipt

number (along with your and her dates of birth) to make any inquiry into case status.

Don't forget to ask for case number.
