We also should note that CSC is almost done with Sept, where as VSC is still working on the end of August. That made me feel a little better for now =)

I check often enough to make myself crazy, LoL. No touches for us since our petition hit the CSC, no matter how often I check! :)

We are pretty sure we'll get an RFE when they do get around to it. The first time he came into the U.S., he was taking a prescribed antipsychotic medication (long story), and ended up being detained for about three hours while they questioned him at length about his condition. Then when he was here for six months last year, he voluntarily came off of the medication under the supervision of a local psychiatrist and has had no problems since. From what we have learned and pieced together between our years of correspondence and his medical records -- note after 5 years in the psychiatric system, his entire file is about a quarter inch thick and he never had a single day of psychotherapy -- we believe he was improperly medicated for depression, and it was the medication that (ironically) caused subsequent symptoms.

At any rate, I know for an absolute fact there is a very complete write-up of that 3-hour interview on his border crossing record, so we'll almost certainly be required to provide evidence that he's not a hazard to himself or others. Hopefully a letter from his psychiatrist here will suffice, because he's sort of hesitant to see another one over there after his last (several years of) experience. :P

Hi all, I am super new to this website, it's so nice to see a community of people that are in the same boat as me :star: !!!!! I filed for our I129-F in November. I am curious to what "touched" means, and how you know when it happens. Also, I did not sign up for text/email confirmation, is it too late to do that? Thanks in advance!

Gee nevermind, I just answered my own question. Mine was touched on 11/17/2010 and the USCIS did allow me to sign up for email/text notifications! Here's to hoping we all hear something soon!

OMG. My heart literally skipped a bit as i checked the USCIS site and saw we got touched last 2/11. I know this may not mean anything and they might just have moved the papers around but did anyone else got touched that day? Just wondering..

We did. Almost same timeline as yours.
